SteVo+ 3,702 Posted February 4, 2012 Notable Draft Picks Round One 1. Cincinnati Bengals: Adam Bryant, DE, Florida 2. Chicago Bears: Eddie Jones, DE, Texas 3. New York Jets: Arrelious Benn, WR, Illinois 4. Denver Broncos: Jay Cuda, QB, TGPU 5. Oakland Raiders: Adam Jenkins, HB, Virginia Tech ... 15. Arizona Cardinals: Majin Matthews, WR, TGPU ... Round Two ... 38. Carolina Panthers: Dom Enata, OLB, TGPU ... 47. Arizona Cardinals: Logan Virgil, OG, TGPU ... 58. Green Bay Packers: Robb Stark, HB, TGPU ... Round Three ... 73. Atlanta Falcons: Aaran lolBangyfail, WR, TGPU ... Rookie Analysis QB Jay Cuda Contract: 7 years, $52.2M; $11.8M signing bonus Ratings: 86 OVR, 65 AWR, 92 THP, 92 THA Analysis: Cuda will enter a training camp position battle for former 1st round pick Leon Mitchell, but should he win, he should be Denver's signal caller for years to come. The offense around the quarterback position is decent, and at the very least whoever wins the position battle will have Eddie Royal to throw to. WR Majin Matthews Contract: 5 years, $41.4M; $7.35M signing bonus Ratings: 84 OVR, 92 SPD, 94 AGI, 93 ACC, 86 CTH, 61 AWR Analysis: The former Heisman winner will have to beat out Steve Breaston for a starting job, but even if he doesn't, he should see plenty of action in the slot. And watching he and Larry Fitzgerald on the same field should be very entertaining. The only question is whether free agent pick-up Matt Flynn can get them the ball. OLB Dom Enata Contract: 3 years, $11.4M; $2.07M signing bonus Ratings: 82 OVR, 79 SPD, 86 AGI, 83 ACC, 82 TAK, 62 AWR Analysis: The Panthers have a quality starting strong-side linebacker in Thomas Davis, but Davis is entering a contract year. Carolina is likely to turn the position over to Enata in 2012. There's also a chance he sees playing time at weak-side linebacker, where the Panthers currently have no starting quality players. OG Logan Virgil Contract: 3 years, $11.7M; $2.28M signing bonus Ratings: 82 OVR, 95 STR, 82 RBK, 87 PBK, 60 AWR Analysis: Virgil should be a starter at right guard immediately. And on an offensive line full of underachievers, he could be a bright spot sooner than later. The Cardinals took a chance on free agent Cadillac Williams this offseason; Virgil will have to be one of the guys who opens holes for him. HB Robb Stark Contract: 3 years, $12.9M; $2.46M signing bonus Ratings: 83 OVR, 93 SPD, 98 AGI, 96 ACC, 81 CTH, 60 AWR Analysis: The Packers currently have Ryan Grant, one of the best in the business, but Grant is entering a contract year and will certainly want to max out his pay day next offseason at age 29. For a team with very little salary cap room, Stark could end up being a starter in 2012. WR Aaran lolBangyfail Contract: 3 years, $12.2M; $2.10M signing bonus Ratings: 81 OVR, 96 SPD, 98 AGI, 98 ACC, 79 CTH, 57 AWR Analysis: The Falcons have put together a very good offense over the last few years, though they lack a true number two receiver behind Roddy White. Bangy could end up being that guy if he can beat out Laurent Robinson in training camp; his speed would certainly be a nice complement to White.

seanbrock 1,684 Posted February 6, 2012 both WR's and our QB have gone to the NFl. Should be interesting to see how we do this year. I think our defense is good enough to carry us to another National Championship. A 3-peat would be fucking epic.
RazorStar 4,025 Posted February 6, 2012 And your HB, and a starting Offensive lineman. So yeah, Defense will have to carry the day.

SteVo+ 3,702 Posted February 6, 2012 We have three running backs with 86 OVR or higher, our receiving corps lacks a true #1 or deep threat but is not a weakness, and the redshirt freshman who's replacing Cuda is an 89 OVR already. I like our chances.

Nice man, all you guys who bailed for the 3-peat are going to miss being part of something special and with a 3-peat you know our recruiting is going to be crazy after everyone leaves.
