56AceInDaPlace 110 Posted April 27, 2012 Round 1 San Antonio Spurs (1) vs (8) Utah Jazz (0-0) Oklahoma Thunder (2) vs (7) Dallas Mavericks (0-0) Los Angeles Lakers (3) vs (6) Denver Nuggets (0-0) Memphis Grizzles (4) vs (5) Los Angeles Clippers (0-0) Ok ima say Spurs in 5 Thunder in 6 Lakers in 6 Grizzlies in 6 Nuggets could give us a series to 7 since Artest is out. But Kobe is definitely bringing it. Gasol and Bynum need to be on their best game each game.

BwareDWare94 723 Posted April 27, 2012 Spurs in 5 Thunder in 7 Lakers in 5 Grizzlies in 5 The better team wins every series unless Joey Crawford decides to eject Duncan for laughing again . Oh God...I don't want to see so much of Joey Crawford again. If there's a worse official in professional sports, I'd like you to name him.

BwareDWare94 723 Posted April 27, 2012 Spurs in 4 Thunder in 5 Lakers in 6 Grizzlies in 7 Do not underestimate how much better Memphis is than LAC. It will show in that series. I don't care if the season series went 2-1 LAC. The Clippers are about to get their shit kicked.

BwareDWare94 723 Posted April 29, 2012 (edited) Dallas had their chances to put this game away. Now they need a game 2 win or it's over in 5. Edited April 29, 2012 by BwareDWare94

JetsFan4Life 542 Posted April 29, 2012 OH MY GOD LAST NIGHT WAS INCREDIBLE So worth the 7 hour drive. So worth it. Must've been amazing to see that live. Me and my friends were wondering how amazing it would feel to be at that game and then I came on here and saw you went. Awesome bro. That was Dallas' chance in my opinion. They needed to win that to have a shot. Lakers/Nuggets begins in a matter of minutes!!!

Awesome bro. That was Dallas' chance in my opinion. They needed to win that to have a shot. Lakers/Nuggets begins in a matter of minutes!!! I'm happy to see Jordan Hill playing so well for LAL. I'm sort of becoming a closet Lakers fan because of Mike Brown (who I think was a great hiring for that cast of players), Kobe, Artest, Sessions, and Hill. Also, why isn't Goudeleck in the rotation? When he plays well, he's very effective. I'd have thought Mike would have worked him into the regulars off the bench.

I'm never counting the Mavs out of anything after last year. They said the same thing after we lost game 1 to the Heat. I don't expect them to win, sure, but I'm not counting them out until they're actually out.
JetsFan4Life 542 Posted April 29, 2012 Great Game 1 for the Lakers! Bynum with the triple double and the team just played a good overall game. I felt fairly confident about the series but now I feel even moreso. Ready for Game 2 on Tuesday.

BwareDWare94 723 Posted April 30, 2012 And then Nick Young, who everybody forgot exists, shows up and makes three crucial treys while the Grizzlies are getting mauled on the other end on every shot (the entire game was officiated very biased toward the Clippers. It was ridiculous), and then of course, the classic non-foul on Tony Allen, who got all ball and tied Chris Paul up. It should have been a jump ball, but CP3 swings his arms and Tony's hand touches his arm. No foul. None whatsoever, and one of David Stern's puppets hands the Clippers the fucking basketball game. Games like this make me hate sports, make me want to just put it away for good. If more of this shit happens, if the officiating doesn't balance out and Memphis gives away another game, I think I'm done until maybe mid NFL season. I get too invested, and it's not worth it to feel this shitty over one game. Might just have to step away for awhile.
Guest Phailadelphia Posted April 30, 2012 Can you just stop complaining about officiating forever? And we'll have a website disclaimer that assumes awful officiating has occurred in every game and that you are in fact complaining about it, but that we can't see it. 3
