SteVo+ 3,702 Posted October 12, 2014 Wilson was pretty pedestrian today, but his receivers got zero separation, and his offensive coordinator abandoned the run game. No QB can make it work under those circumstances.
Bay 2,003 Posted October 12, 2014 I hate how after every game we have to say Wilson sucks or Wilson is god. What do you say when he bounces back and has a typical RW game? He's human last time I checked.

This is the internet, where absolute determinations are made on a weekly basis and you DO NOT QUESTION IT.

BwareDWare94 723 Posted October 13, 2014 As much as I don't think Russell Wilson is elite, or even close, I think over-reacting to one bad game would be rash.

Omerta+ 1,206 Posted October 14, 2014 I know the NFL is a lot different than it was back when the Pats were winning Super Bowls, but when the Patriots had those dominant defenses and were more of a run first team with mediocre WR's he wasn't putting up record breaking stats. A lot of people pointed to the stats Peyton was putting up and saying Brady was being carried by his defense...then the Patriots team changed and Brady started throwing 40 TD's a year and that argument was put to bed. Peyton Manning kept "putting his team on his back" and getting ko'd in the first round of the playoffs on an almost yearly basis. Without that dominant defense how well did he do. Being elite is so subjective that it is impossible to argue, especially with you.
