SteVo+ 3,702 Posted December 15, 2015 Ok, here we go with some surprises. Not only do you guys get teasers every Monday (I'm late this week), you also get cumulative player statistics for all TGP-inspired characters. Once we get a few weeks in, I'll include league-wide standings as well. Enjoy! Teaser: Ch. 43 - Next Man Up Despite a 1-0 record, the Knights enter week 2 in the wake of an injury to their starting quarterback. The next games on their schedule: their home opener against Jacksonville, and a Sunday Night Football game in New England. The team gets an official diagnosis and timetable on Maverick's injury. A backup QB puts immediate pressure on McKenzie. At least one Knight with a new contract isn't happy. Yet another injury forces a backup into the starting lineup. SteVo+ 3,702 Posted December 21, 2015 We're rolling along, here's your teaser for this Friday. Stats and standings to follow, probably tomorrow. Ch. 44 - Fact, Fiction, and Statistics Off to a 2-1 record but limited with no Jonathan Maverick, the Knights have a home game against the Dolphins, followed by a much-needed bye week. Tension fills the front office, and things heat up between Schneider and Phillips. Michal Keegan begins to make his impression on the Knights' organization. Jay Cooper, Cassie Sampson, and Adam Javad make their first appearances of the season. Word Count: 5,433

Sarge+ 3,436 Posted December 21, 2015 Ohhhh here we go. My prediction (doubt it happens though): Schneider wants answers at QB and turns to Phillips. Phillips goes off, and Schneider quietly begins to see Keegan as the new GM behind closed doors. Adam Javad is there to get the scoop.
SteVo+ 3,702 Posted December 22, 2015 With Friday being Christmas, are you gonna maintain the standard release schedule? That's the plan. Also, regarding stats...they kinda take a long time to post, so if you want stats for your player (or someone else's, I suppose), place your request in this thread and it shall be done.
Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted December 22, 2015 Phillips is on his way out the door and reunites with Caden in SD... Phillips brings that last added umph by pillaging some important pieces from the knights and the Chargers win the SB. /sunset /story
SteVo+ 3,702 Posted December 24, 2015 Announcement: the next chapter will indeed be posted tomorrow, but not first thing in the morning. Early afternoon, I'd say.
SteVo+ 3,702 Posted December 28, 2015 (edited) Three chapters in already, (at least) seven to go. Here's a boatload of fun stuff, including standings and player statistics current through the last chapter. I've only included characters whose creator has voiced some form of interest in this thread. If you want a character added, speak up! Teaser: Ch. 45 - See No Evil Coming off a bye week, next up on the Knights' schedule are two home games: a battle with Caden Daniel and the Chargers, and a Sunday Night Football match against the Cardinals. Javad builds on his reputation as the Knights try to counter their image. Phillips counts down what may be his final months as Knights GM. A figure from Rose's mysterious past reenters his life, creating a very dangerous situation. SteVo+ 3,702 Posted January 5, 2016 It's gettin' good, boys. Here's your teaser for the fifth (already?) chapter of Part IV. No standings or stats just yet, sorry. Ch. 46 - The Shield With a 4-2 record, the Knights head into what looks like a brutal midseason schedule. Next up: a road trip to Baltimore, and a divisional home game against Denver. The Knights handle the Rose/Torrey story hitting the news. Sebastian Stevenson returns from injury, but Bobby Schwinn isn't headed back to the bench full-time. McKenzie's offense gets a boost from two seventh-round draft picks. Word Count: 5,543
SteVo+ 3,702 Posted January 11, 2016 Here's your teaser for Friday, now past the halfway point in Part IV (assuming no playoff games), along with standings. Teaser: Ch. 46 - Plays Gone By The Knights are finding momentum in what could have been a lost season, but next up on the schedule is a game they (and the rest of the league) have been anticipating: a road trip to Seattle for a rematch of Super Bowl XLVIII. Maverick deals with buzz of a QB controversy, Javad looks to pounce on an opportunity, and Harden finds a unique way to prepare his team for an emotionally charged game, a battle that traces memories of last year's Super Bowl defeat and walks the line between the thrill of winning and the agony of losing a football game. SteVo+ 3,702 Posted January 18, 2016 Onward march! No standings this week because I'm lazy, and also because I think the teaser speaks for itself. Prepare yourselves this week... Ch. 48 - Coaches Anonymous Another crushing loss to Seattle drops the Knights to 6-3, and the next set of games on their schedule is a Thursday night road trip to St. Louis and divisional home game against Kansas City. This week, however, the focus is off the field as a personal problem that has followed Merle Harden for years finally reaches the surface, creating an unforgettable week at the MedComm Center. Elsewhere, D-Jam's antics come under fire, and the Knights get an update on Maverick's shoulder. Word Count: 5,

SteVo+ 3,702 Posted January 25, 2016 Teaser plus standings, as we're already on chapter eight. That means three regular season chapters left in Part IV. Can the Knights hang on, or are we three weeks away from counting down to Part V? Teaser: Ch. 49 - Mediate The Knights are riding high, in first place in the league's toughest division, preparing for a nationally televised trip to San Diego while dealing with the aftermath of Merle Harden's alcoholism. The media keeps on that story, news breaks regarding the Rose/Torrey case, and the Knights prepare to face their former head coach. It's another week of life in the NFL for the Knights--told from the perspective of the media, from radio show hosts and talk show analysts to the Monday Night Football broadcast booth with Tirico and Gruden. Word Count: 4,890 Writer's note: Remember I teased a chapter that would be incredibly polarizing? This is it. It could very well go down as the worst KoA chapter ever, but at least it was fun to write. That should count for something, right?
