How's about we get 2nd round predictions underway?

Everybody in 6!

Heat - the Nets are old

Wizards - the Pacers are terrible

Blazers - serious match-up problems for the Spurs

Thunder - Thunder can counter Clips best players better than Clips can counter Thunder's best players

Heat in 6. Nets swept them in the regular season but that doesn't mean anything. Nets will put up a bit of a fight but end up losing anyways

Wizards in 6. Pacers still look poor and after watching Noah being abused, want to see how Hibbert fairs. Wall and Beal will be too hard for the Pacers to handle.

Thunder in 7. The Clippers played well against the Thunder during the regular season but they can't slow them down and make the Thunder play half-court ball like the Grizz did. Still should be an entertaining series and a lot of offensive fireworks.

Spurs in 7. Lillard and Aldridge are great and do present mismatches to the Spurs but Pop is a genius and if the Spurs click like they did in game 7, they could win this series as well. But this series is going 7 either way.

Scott Brooks has bested Rick Carlisle, Gregg Poppovich, Phil Jackson, and George Karl, who are probably all considered far better head coaches than Brooks, and 3 of whom are considered better coaches than Doc. That's probably not what's going to decide this series.

George Karl wrongly considered so, and Jackson's the most overrated figure in league history.

Carlisle and Pop, though. That's impressive.

Jackson overrated? Please. The guy has 11 championship rings. 13 time conference champion.

Yeah, but he had good players, unlike every other championship coach ever.

Hibbert is throwing games or something. Or has a bad injury that hasn't been reported. The guy was never elite, but he also was never Brian Scalabrine bad.

Please. The dude had the best player from two straight generations, and Shaq to boot during the second.

There is a LONG list of great coaches who would have won Phil's championships. He's no better than any other great coach, and he's not as good as guys like Pop and Carlisle, imo.

Bware, in the past 30 years the 04 Pistons are the only NBA champion to not have at least two hall of famers (most likely). How can you hold talent against Jackson but no one else?

I'm not holding anything against him. Dude had the best player from two consecutive generations on his teams. That matters.

For instance, Spo isn't a top NBA coach, but he might win 3 straight titles simply because of LeBron.

Phil's great--he's one of the best coaches in league history, but he gets put on a pedestal because of rings when he's in fact the single luckiest coach in league history, as well. He got to coach Prime Jordan, Prime Kobe, and even Prime Shaq.

And don't forget for a second how good Andrew Bynum was before his knees fell apart.

The guy has had more than his peers and yet he's considered above them. I find that silly.

Then how come no one has won a championship with Jordan or Kobe other than Jackson?

Well, this is ugly. But the Clippers won't shoot this well from 3 all series. Chris Paul certainly won't shoot 90% again.

But Fisher can't be guarding Crawford. And OKC has its most decisive advantage when it goes small and forces Jordan either out of the paint or off the court. Brooks needs to recognize this.

Brooks ought to sit KD & Westbrook for the 4th quarter. They need the rest.

Because Phil left when the teams weren't really all that good, anymore. That's why.

And Doug Collins would have won those championships in Chicago, too, had they kept him.

Oh yeah, you love Doug Collins because he didn't do as well as Jackson with the same level of talent, but he's considered worse so that makes him better in your eyes.

I'll take Phil Jackson over Mr Three Years

Spo is the reason BronBron has a second ring.
