theMileHighGuy 656 Posted August 28, 2015 Thanks mostly to Mad Men, I've taken a liking to the old fashioned. Really great drink, though only in the right place. Wouldn't order an old fashioned at the Applebee's bar. The last old fashioned I had was in a sea-food restaurant in the inner harbor in Bmore. No idea what bourbon they used in it, but it was $14, and worth every penny.

Maverick 791 Posted September 8, 2015 Nothing fancy, but I've really in into Shock Top lately. Soooo good The bar I used to go to a lot sold Shock Top for $1.50 on Thursday nights. For that price that's usually my go to and now I really enjoy it. Any specific brew you're enjoying or just Belgian White?
blotsfan 2,112 Posted September 8, 2015 Damn most bars I've been to you're lucky if $1.50 gets you PBR. And yeah just the standard Belgian white.

oochymp 2,393 Posted October 2, 2015 (edited) anybody had this? super cheap ($13 for a liter around here) and it makes a fantastic bourbon and coke, this might be my new go-to mixing bourbon, haven't tried it straight (though I usually go with rocks over straight) Edited October 2, 2015 by oochymp
Dutch 874 Posted October 2, 2015 Hennessy is my all time favorite. Since moving to Maryland, I've been introduced to Crown Royal and I love it.
butta54 371 Posted October 3, 2015 My 12pk for the football week. Had one of each for Thursday night's game. Guess I'll rank them out later. Had the Horchata one with a burrito
oochymp 2,393 Posted October 3, 2015 (edited) That horchata one was a lot better than I expected (had one from a sampler a while back) not sure about chai spiced tho Also, to circle back to the ancient ancient age, I tried some on rocks tonight and it was a bit rough for me, still great as a mixer tho Edited October 3, 2015 by oochymp
butta54 371 Posted October 3, 2015 Chai Spice taste EXACTLY like pumpkin pie until the very end it gets a spicy/weird after taste

PackIsBack 124 Posted October 5, 2015 I'll probably sound like a gender stereotype but I really like fruity mixed drinks like: Screwdrivers and Sex On The Beach. Those are probably what I prefer the most. But, I also really like Rum & Coke and Long Island Iced Tea. Redd's Apple Ale is something I like particularly in the fall. Zack_of_Steel+ 3,014 Posted October 18, 2015 (edited) This new rum/liqueur showed up a couple weeks ago at the store. It's phenomenal straight and even better chilled. Couple friends and I nearly finished a 750ml last night after work, haha. http://www.grindespressospirit.com/coffee-cocktail-recipes.html Edited October 18, 2015 by Zack_of_Steel
