Bucman 891 Posted September 6, 2015 (edited) Robert Nkemdiche looked pretty good on that TD pass. Pretty quick for a nearly a 300 pound dude. Edited September 6, 2015 by Bucman

CampinWithaMissingPerson 2,025 Posted September 6, 2015 I'm still meh on Connor Cook. Jacoby Brissett is a guy I've been interested in QB wise after his year last year. Mechanics obviously need work, and even though he did great in this first game this year stat wise a lot of those throws could of been placed better accuracy wise. I need to see better from him because he's got a lot of potential. With the season underway, just a place to discuss guys who look good, look bad, look OK... As well as any news. I'm officially on the Goff bandwagon. You sure he's not gonna be another David Fales arm strength wise in the league? Seems to be the big knock. Well Hackenberg looked like shit yesterday. Sounds like it went a lot like last year, only been able to see some highlights of the game so far.
ATL_Predator+ 1,196 Posted September 6, 2015 Cam Robinson, Reggie Ragland, Tommy Kelly, Derrick Henry... all names you should be aware of for Bama.

FartWaffles 1,857 Posted September 6, 2015 I'm officially on the Goff bandwagon. You sure he's not gonna be another David Fales arm strength wise in the league? Seems to be the big knock. He doesn't have a rocket arm, but I personally think he has enough arm strength for the next level. He kinda reminds me of Philip Rivers, especially with that unorthodox release. My favorite thing about Goff is he can throw from just about any contorted position, which helps when you know that pass rusher is going to get a hit in. I'm excited for Goff this year, I will definitely try and watch as many Cal games as I can.

.AirMcNair. 1,232 Posted September 6, 2015 Draft eligible Vol players to watch for this upcoming draft: 1. Cameron Sutton(JR) - The best corner in the country not named Hargreaves. 2. Marquez North(JR) - Extremely gifted physically, but we have so much talent at receiver that his numbers likely won't reflect the spot he's taken in the draft. 3. Curt Maggitt(SR) - Has an explosive first step, really intelligent as well. Fits best as a 3-4 OLB coming out, best suited as a pass rush specialist.
Bangy 19 Posted September 6, 2015 Oregon's are fairly easy to guesson the most part. Vernon Adams Jr - Obviously on of the bigger and more interesting transfers this season both on and off the field. Guy is probably close to Russell Wilson on the field but imo has better decision making and is more athletic than Russ. DeForest Buckner - Decided to stay last year instead of going to the draft. Buckner is the leader of the Dline and was more productive than Armstead. If he builds on his performance of last year he could easily be a top 10 pick imo. Thomas Tynor - One of a long line of productive Running Backs to come out of Oregon. Has home run speed and although on the small size is built like a tank. Pharoe Brown - To me one of the more interesting picks. Brown at TE was absolutely wrecking defensives up until he had the horrible injury. If he comes back and performs like he did last year then watch out. Bralon Addison - Another that was poised to break out last year but blew his ACL. He is imo a completely different league in regards to WRs in the PAC 12 and could be a another top pic in the upcoming draft. Best pro comparison I can think of is Brandon Cooks. Tyler Johnson - Has immense length, ability and quickness. I know some people had him going higher than Fisher last year but again had a knee problem that ruled him out for the year. I know you're drinking the Vernon Adams Kool-Aid and by all means enjoy, but to say a college QB from spread offenses is a better decision maker than a Super Bowl winning QB in the pros is just outrageously dense. This is in regards to where Wilson was at Wisconsin thought that would of been clear seeing as its in the college football section but should of made that clearer. I do think that he has the potential to be better than Wilson if he makes the transition to the FBS well. Edited September 6, 2015 by Bangy

It honestly couldn't be worst. But I've always seen Hack as more of a project at this point. But as far as Goff is concerned... I see a lot of Bridgewater in his game. Prototypical pocket passer... Not the strongest arm, but he's got ball placement and consistency is on point.

I do think that he has the potential to be better than Wilson if he makes the transition to the FBS well. Even with that in mind, I still disagree wholeheartedly your statement. Wilson was extremely efficient and was a great decision maker in college. Your homer goggles are blinding you from rational thought. Go re-watch Wilson from his college days, because I think you're just forgetting how good he was even at that stage.

FartWaffles 1,857 Posted September 8, 2015 So any of you guys see Braxton Miller as a 1st rd pick as a receiver? Harvin 2.0? He's done more damage than Cardale tonight, that's for sure. Not going to annoint him a first round pick just yet, but he definitely has intriguing measurables with the potential to hear his name called on Day 1. DonovanMcnabb for H.O.F 2,241 Posted September 13, 2015 Yea, I wasn't feeling Adams last week, really not feeling him right now. Lol. Anyway, Cook looked great this week. He wasn't getting much help from his oline either. At least when I was watching.

DonovanMcnabb for H.O.F 2,241 Posted September 13, 2015 Adams' arm is just terrible. And he doesn't know how to set his feet. He isn't even an NFL QB at this point tbh. Goff on the other hand...
