DonovanMcnabb for H.O.F 2,241 Posted January 4, 2017 If people want to give Brady am award for his incredible offensive production, give him OPOTY. That's why the award was created. Argument for him goes outo the with down when you consider the time missed and the way it did little to nothing to impact the w/l column.
Thanatos 2,847 Posted January 5, 2017 I've come around to that line of thinking as well. Brady cannot be MVP. It's between Arod and Ryan, with Zeke a distant third.

Don't get me wrong, with Brady the Patriots have super bowl plausibility every time. Without him they don't but they STILL win games. 11-5 with Matt Cassell. Then 3-1 this year without him. Ryan's or Rodgers impact on their team's mean more than Brady's. Not to mention both sides definitely carried their team's too. Brady isn't even in my Convo for MVP. There's at least 4-5 other players ahead of him this year. Edited January 5, 2017 by 56AceInDaPlace
seanbrock 1,684 Posted January 5, 2017 Pats were too good without Brady for Brady to have a shot. If Matt Ryan or Aaron Rodgers missed 4 games for their team they would absolutely not be in the playoffs. They'd would be sitting on a top 10 draft pick. Brady misses 4 and the Pats STILL end up playing all home games in the post season.
Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted January 5, 2017 Think about this...On average, every time Matt Ryan attempted a pass, the Falcons gained a first down. Technically less than a yard short of a first down, but holy shit... That is amazing.
BJORN 679 Posted January 5, 2017 Think about this... On average, every time Tom Brady threw an interception, he followed it up with 14 touchdowns. No approximations needed, but holy shit... That is amazing.

That is amazing. Patriots 2nd string QB didn't throw a single INT and was undeafeated... Jimmy G > Brady

That is amazing. On average, for every four quarters Tom Brady played, Matty Ice played five. And he still had better stats across the board with the sole exception of TD/INT ratio.
