Chicago Begins Mitchell Trubisky Era

Recommended Posts

The Chicago Bears are turning to rookie quarterback Mitchell Trubisky instead of Mike Glennon during the team's Week 5 game against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday.

The Bears confirmed the move after ESPN's Adam Schefter and Dan Graziano reported the news.

I don't really see the point of benefit of this. Maybe with Dalvin Cook going down, the Bears think they can legtimately compete for the playoffs this year? Ehhh.

John Fox can smell the writing on the wall. After Feff Jisher, he has to be the most mediocre coach in the league.

Poor Mike Glennon, leaves to be a starter and can't even make it 5 games. He deserved to be benched though, 8 turnovers in 4 games with a 1-3 record. Maybe he can go back to being Jameis' backup after the Bears cut him this offseason.

This move is completely pointless because most teams have better WRs on their practice squads than the Bears have on their active roster. This could ruin Trubisky

20/27 287 yards 3 tds vs Vikings. Like this move by the bears get the young kid in early.

With who? If any Bears WR catches early passes the Vikings will erase him by letting Rhodes shadow him

I love how you're never afraid to make a prediction, Terry. Hope he turns out.

Thought outside of a few throws he did pretty well. He usually put his receivers in a position to make a catch but they seemed to let him down.
