Packers Dynasty 2010 116 Posted April 8, 2018 (edited) With the 84th overall pick of the 2018 NFL draft, the Los Angeles Chargers select: Josey Jewell, LB, Iowa The Chargers hardly have anyone at LB and they need a thumper to play behind that d-line. Cherry 1,302 Posted April 8, 2018 With the 87th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft the Los Angeles Rams select... Nathan Shepherd, DT, Fort Hays State He's an older fella, as he spent two years out of football, but he isn't a character concern. Shepherd was born and raised in Canada, and attended Simon Fraser university for two years to play ball. He was unable to stay due to a lack of money and the fact that he was unable to get a scholarship there. After working for two years and saving up money he was able to get a shot at Fort Hays State, where he earned a scholarship after spending some time on the team. Shepherd's tape is dominant in every sense of the word. He mercilessly chopped through double teams and looked unblockable on nearly every snap. The leap in competition will be a concern, but he looked good early on at the first Senior Bowl practice prior to a broken hand putting him out for the week. Don't let the DII credentials fool you. Shepherd is as good as they come. Here's my scouting report on him. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1uADcIe-F2aGyNdqpb56ElVN-sYdoLp23PXRhpLtM6u4/edit?usp=sharing (It's worth noting that Ndamukong Suh was not yet on the roster prior to this draft starting, so this pick fills that hole.) butta54 371 Posted April 8, 2018 (edited) With the 91st pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, the New Orleans Saints select.... Mason Rudolph, QB, Oklahoma State Drew Brees is approaching his swan song, and there are lots of people invested in the Saints future that believe they should groom someone while Brees is still here instead of waiting for him to walk into the sunset. Well we are in luck as one of the top prospects at the position is still on the board. While the upside of Josh Allen is undeniable...I believe at the moment Rudolph is more equipped to play right now and will only improve those skills being in the room with Brees and Sean Payton. With two 3rd round picks and a nice prospect on the board...this is a low-risk/high-reward selection. Edited April 8, 2018 by butta54

butta54 371 Posted April 8, 2018 With the 92nd pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select... Deon Cain, WR, Clemson Pittsburgh had some success swinging on an athletic yet unpolished Clemson receiver before. With Bryant going into his contract year, Cain steps into a highly capable WR corps that won't ask too much of him right away, but will allow him to grow. Cherry 1,302 Posted April 9, 2018 With the 100th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft the Cincinnati Bengals select... Micah Kiser, LB, Virginia The Bengals need an upgrade over Nick Vigil, who misses an outrageous amount of tackles during his time starting. Kiser is as good as it gets as a pure tackler, even though he isn't an elite cover talent. Below is my scouting report on Kiser. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1tFuLkmqre-yu5f5UlRlAoDYIvFL8tpxGrUrIlQSvBEQ/edit?usp=sharing The Packers are on the clock
Packers Dynasty 2010 116 Posted April 9, 2018 (edited) With the 101st overall pick of the 2018 NFL draft, the Green Bay Packers select: Wyatt Teller, G, Virginia Tech After investing in edge and corner in the 1st, the Packers turn their attention to the right side of the o-line. Jahri Evans was a stop gap solution last season and hasn't been re-signed so as of now the starter at RG would be McCray. Teller is explosive and can clear a hole for Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams. With a bit of work on his pass pro, he should be a day 1 starter. Edited April 9, 2018 by Packers Dynasty 2010
