What was the last movie you watched?

Wow. Really??

They made another Percy Jackson movie? After the abomination that was the 1st one?

Do yourself a favor. Read the books, forget about the movies.

Thought the 2nd one did the book much better justice than the 1st. Although, that isn't particularly hard.

Jobs.

Pretty average and disappointing. Why is Kutcher still landing leading roles like this?

Kick Ass 2

It got some pretty bad reviews, and even though I haven't read them in depth yet and just saw the poor rating on RT.... I have no idea what people could not like so much.

I loved it -- more than the first one actually which is saying something. Acting was awesome, it was bloody and violent... The characters themselves were kick ass and the comedy was HILARIOUS. It was just so over the top... LOVED IT.

And while he wasn't the star of the film, Jim Carrey had his best performance (IMO) since movies like The Truman Show and ...Spotless Mind. So awesome.

The movie did get a tad over dramatic / sappy / sentimental in parts but it was nothing that majorly brought it down.

Sometimes you disagree with critics. I thought Battle: LA was a good movie, and also My Way; but both movies were panned.

Another great from the Coen Brothers.

O' Brother, Where Art Thou?

Easily one of my favorite movies of all time.

And many most likely disagree, but one of the greatest soundtracks ever as well.

Jon Snow in some 300 type stuff. He comes off as soft imo but it will be interesting to see him in a new role.

"300 type stuff" .. Is that supposed to be an insult? Lol.

Oh... and he still knows nothing.

I finally got to see Kick-Ass 2 today, I thought it was awesome as shit. But it totally is one of those movies that is great to watch when you're high.

Jeepers Creepers :shifty:

Did you know Francis Ford Coppola was an executive producer for it?

Mortal Instruments.

Only saw this because my theater already pushed Paranoia back to two late night slots only for showing times and I wanted to take advantage of the $5 matinee.

It was OK, another movie that at least had a somewhat intriguing topic for me. Has anyone reads these books though? They ended the movie in such a horrible spot (IMO) and wasn't sure if it lined up with the books or not.

Hmm. Going through here, it's a bit lower than I originally thought.

(Again, my personal favorites.)

1. WALL-E

2. The Incredibles

3. Finding Nemo

4. Toy Story

5. Toy Story 3

6. Brave

7. Monsters University

So top-half, I guess. :p

But honestly, the only Pixar movies I didn't really like were the Cars ones.

"Toy Story 2" was my favorite of the three. 3 was the worst since they got rid of Woody's girlfriend.

Anyway I watched "Trouble With the Curve" tonight, and I give it a C+ or B-

3 was incredible.

Also girlfriend? She was never a large part of the movies. It was more of forced interest.

Hear hear. I had high expectations for the first movie after I read the books, but man was I disappointed.

It's been a while since I watched the first "Toy Story", but I thought that the relationship between Woody and Bo was established early in the first one
