Vin+ 3,121 Posted March 23, 2011 Steelers QB Charlie Batch filed for bankruptcy in December. Batch's bankruptcy filing lists $8.3 million in liabilities and $2.3 million in assets. He may end up losing his two Super Bowl rings to pay off the debt. Batch is the second veteran QB in two years to file for bankruptcy, joining the Jets' Mark Brunell. Everyone keeps saying "poor guy, he might lose his rings" but my thought is "what did you do to owe FOUR times what you actually have in assets??" He invested into property when there was money to be made. Once the real estate market crashed he started losing money and accumulated debt. It's happened to a lot of people.
