49ers finish the season 14-2?

Recommended Posts

The rest of the 9er's schedule:

:Cardinals: - W

:Ravens: - W

:Rams: - W

:Cardinals: - W

:Steelers: - L?

:Seahawks: - W

:Rams: - W

I can see this happening very easily... What are all of your thoughts?

Yeah the only team that I'm really worried about is the Steelers. Baltimore is so unpredictable.

5-2 or 4-3 in this stretch, I could see either the Seahawks or Cardinals pulling a surprise win (not both), and one of the Ravens or Steelers should be to beat the 49ers in a close one.

I concur. :yep:

The Steelers & Ravens games could be wins just as easily as they could be losses. The Steelers are more consistent, so I would be more concerned about them (but I wouldn't take them lightly). The Niners SHOULD go undefeated in the division but I expect one upset loss. I think the Niners go 5-2 through this span even though my gut tells me 6-1. They might even be able to pull off 7-0...we can hope...

The Steelers and Ravens games will both be tough; remember that the Ravens play up or down to their competition, so they'll bring their A-game against San Fran. Also, you should never assume sweeps over divisional opponents, no matter how good they are. I'll say they lose three in this stretch to finish 12-4.

I think 12-4 would be enough to take the #2 seed, so unless you think SF can catch GB for the #1 seed, that's just fine.

If the Niners are going to Seattle to play, then I could definitely see them dropping that one.

Yeah, finishing 12 and 4 is completely understandable. I was just looking at the possibilities and they looked like they weren't too far fetched...

12-4.

The Ravens play good against good teams, the Cardinals will beat them at least once, the Steelers are too good.

I wasn't saying they will go 14-2, I was just stating the possibility. I can see them coming out with another 3 losses by the end of the season. But that is still 12-4, which is much better than I can ever remember seeing in my lifetime. haha.
