DonovanMcnabb for H.O.F 2,241 Posted December 24, 2011 Seems a bit tedious, but what do you guys think? We nominate 5 to 10 players for each number, and vote, after the vote is final, we go on to the next number... We would probably start at #1... And move up from there... So an example... Possible players for #1: Lebron James Kobe Bryant Kevin Durant Derrick Rose Dirk (can't spell last name) etc.... Then we vote, debate, whatever, then go on to #2. It'd be a great way to spark some debate around hurr... Thoughts?

badgers 380 Posted December 24, 2011 Yes NBA needs more talking about around here. Dwyane Wade LeBron James Chris Paul Derrick Rose Kevin Durant Is my top 5. As much as I hate giving James any recognition whatsoever he's really good. So #2 imo. And personally I believe ever since LeBron and Bosh came to Miami, Dwyane Wade has been overlooked but he's still the best imo.

ATL_Predator+ 1,196 Posted December 24, 2011 What is your reasoning behind that? Derrick Rose was the MVP in his second year as an NBA player. As a point guard, Derrick Rose makes the players around him better and he himself is a great player and knows when it's time to take care of business on his own and get the job done..not saying that CP3 doesn't btw. CP3 doesn't carry his team like Rose does, IMO.

The guy DEFINITELY carried the Hornets to any kind of playoff success they've had.

DonovanMcnabb for H.O.F 2,241 Posted December 28, 2011 Well, they can't include Blake Griffin, so start naming. Why not Blake Griffen? Shooting aside, what area of Kevin Love's game is that much better then Griffen's that you can't make an argument for him against Love? The way I see it, Kevin Love and Griffen are in the same category, and neither have done anything to truly be better then the other. I would easily take Aldridge over Love. I would also take Gasol, and STATS, I would even consider Randolph ahead. And would it not be for age and the dropoff in scoring, Garnett would have an argument as well.
