Ravens don't have the offense to match the Packers, and the Ravens defense is ageing

seanbrock 1,684 Posted June 16, 2012 The only way we can win a Super Bowl probably is if we match up against the Chargers lol. and I wouldn't be so quick to laugh at Seattle beating Chicago. Seattle has a better defense than the Bears but a lot of this happens to be hinging on Matt Flynn.

AllYouNeedIsLovie 377 Posted June 17, 2012 What makes you think the Bears will be better then the 'Hawks? Bears have a much better offense than the Hawks. The Bears are stronger at every position besides o-line and the Bears defense is just as good as Seattle's, if not better.
DonovanMcnabb for H.O.F 2,241 Posted June 17, 2012 lol at this Superbowl. Both these teams always choke in the playoffs and the Chargers would be lucky to even make the playoffs. Well, every year the playoff picture changes a ton outside of who ends up making it to the SB. I'd like to put my money Rivers playing back to norm. The offense with Gates back and Matthews on the come. The Chiefs are getting overrated and the Raiders have too many question marks surrounding them. I think they can make it to the playoffs, once that happens, it's anybody's game. The Eagles are the best team in the NFC East imo. vs. get I'd probably go streaking if we made the Super Bowl... lol. AllYouNeedIsLovie 377 Posted June 17, 2012 Well, every year the playoff picture changes a ton outside of who ends up making it to the SB. I agree and I like that you are picking 2 teams that are different from the norm, but I just can't see the Chargers getting there as long as Norv is their coach. They just can't seem to win in the playoffs. Eagles could get there because they definitely have the talent to, but they'd lose like they always do when they get there. But i'd put my money on Turbin over Bush should either go down. The Bears are hardly stronger at receiver, but the Hawks have the better TE. The Bears have the better QB, but they also play in the much tougher division. And the Seahwks defense has the potential to be much better then the Bears.

butta54 371 Posted June 17, 2012 When did the Seahawks defense become better or close to the Bears?? And our receivers hardly better? Who was viable at wideout outside of Mike Williams? And you think Mike Williams compares to Brandon Marshall who I would pick over the Seahawk's first three WR put together. Alshon Jeffery is a physical freak when in shape and Bennett does his job in the slot. Now to their defense you add in a undersized pass rusher to replace Curry who didn't cut it as a pass rusher and you sport a D-Line that does good at stopping the run, but isn't a pass rushing force (hence the Irvin pick). Now you compare Hill and Hawthorne to Urlacher and Briggs and answer that for yourself. You have better coverage in the secondary, but what we lack in coverage skill we make up for in turnovers with our secondary. IF Flynn does well you are an improving offense. We however have already shown that we can score with Cutler and he did it pretty easily against the Seahawks not long ago. Add in our new weapons and offense and YES THIS IS A LOL @ the Seahawks beating us if they even make the playoffs

They have have real solid LB's and with Sherman and Earl Thomas they have playmakers on every level of that defense. Offensively they have a strong running game and DEPTH at WR with a solid TE. If Matt Flynn can come in and be an effective QB the Seahawks offense will be dangerous.

I'm not hearing anything that has really changed since last year besides the POSSIBILITY of Flynn being effective. And their offense will be good not dangerous. Depth at WR means nothing but they have a group of talented WRs and no elite talent at the position. One of the best run stopping defensive lines I'll agree, but still not comparing to the Bear's defense.

Who was viable at wideout outside of Mike Williams? And you think Mike Williams compares to Brandon Marshall who I would pick over the Seahawk's first three WR put together. Alshon Jeffery is a physical freak when in shape and Bennett does his job in the slot. Brandon Marshall is without a doubt the best receiver b/w the two teams. But after that, it's a lot spottier. Alshon has yet to proved he can stay in shape, Earl Bennett is inconsistent. Doug Baldwin outperfomed all of them. And he was a rookie last year. If Rice can stay healthy he is just as viable of an option as Marshall. Now to their defense you add in a undersized pass rusher to replace Curry who didn't cut it as a pass rusher and you sport a D-Line that does good at stopping the run, but isn't a pass rushing force (hence the Irvin pick). Undersized pass rsh specialist*... It becomes a lot easier to rush the QB when you are coming off the edge as a stand up lb, and that's all that's asked of you. And regardless, they had the same amount of sacks last year... The Hawks add a pass rush specialist to make their pass rush better, the Bears add an undersized DE. Now you compare Hill and Hawthorne to Urlacher and Briggs and answer that for yourself. Fair enough, everyone would take the later. You have better coverage in the secondary, but what we lack in coverage skill we make up for in turnovers with our secondary. Nobody is gonna argue with that, but the Seahawks were the better against the pass in almost every category, save INT. And all there guys are young, and improving. IF Flynn does well you are an improving offense. We however have already shown that we can score with Cutler and he did it pretty easily against the Seahawks not long ago. Add in our new weapons and offense and YES THIS IS A LOL @ the Seahawks beating us if they even make the playoffs When was this? lol. The Seahawks have outscored you both times you've played in the last 2 years... But anyways, the Hawks have more depth on offense. Anyways, both teams have a lot of questions coming in this year. I just think the Seahawks, being they are in a worst division have a better chance of making it out then the Bears.
badgers 380 Posted June 17, 2012 This is one of the few years I don't have a strong feeling about the playoffs. NFC is so deep that it could go to any one of 6 teams. A bit early for an extensive prediction from me but this is what I'll say. > > > Call me crazy but the Steelers are always solid so they'll most likely make it deep, the 49ers are similar in style with an added receiver or two, and the Eagles are on the war path imo. Again, I'm not too for certain on the NFC side. I could throw the Packers, Falcons, Giants, maybe even Bears into the conversation for the NFC title.
