BLUE 1,026 Posted September 3, 2012 (edited) How the fuck did you get those WRs/RBs in a PPR league? Holy shit. How in blazes did you get those three and Fitz AND Wallace??? There were some questionable early picks. I picked #2 overall and decided to wait on getting a QB and TE because there was an early run on both of those positions, and I was completely fine with getting Big Ben and Tony Gonzalez in later rounds if it meant getting MJD and Wallace at great value, earlier. I took Fitz at either the end of the 2nd round or the beginning of the 3rd round (I can't remember). Edited September 3, 2012 by BLUE
Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted September 3, 2012 How questionable? lol Like Josh Cribbs 2nd overall? Had a 10 team auction league tonight with a couple IDP spots thrown in. Got me Rodgers, Foster, and Ray Rice. Needless to say, my depth is a bit exhausted. But I did get JPP, London Fletcher, and Kam Chancellor all for under $3 which I thought was pretty sweet. Like 2 TEs getting taken in the first round. You got Rodgers, Foster and Ray Rice? What the hell? Fuck depth if it means you can get arguably 3 guys that could easily be at the top of fantasy scoring lists when it's all said and done. Your IDPs are also great. Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted September 3, 2012 Ya, I don't know what is up with people this year. I am in like 10 leagues, and in most of them... Jimmy Graham and Gronk are being taken 2nd maybe 1st round. It's INSANE. If I ever take a TE in the 1st round, please bitch slap me. Sometimes I will go after a guy I really like (such as this year, I think Antonio Gates is going to burst back onto the scene)... But otherwise, I am completely content with a Fred Davis or Pettigrew late.
HadenIsland23 42 Posted September 3, 2012 This is what i've accomplished in my money leagues Team 1(8 Team League) QB: Cam Newton RB: Ray Rice RB: Matt Forte WR: Hakeem Nicks WR: Vincent Jackson FLEX: Trent Richardson TE: Tony Gonzo DST: Seattle K: Alex Henrey Bench Dez Bryant Antonio Brown Stevan Ridely Torrey Smith RGIII Issac Redman Tim Tebow Team 2(10 Team League) QB: Tony Romo RB: Chris Johnson RB: Shonn Greene WR: Roddy White WR: Greg Jennings TE: Tony Gonzo FLEX: Wes Welker DST: Cardnials K: Stepen Janakowski Bench Issac Redman Peiree Garcon David Wilson RGIII Santonio Holmes Nate Washington Tim Tebow Team 3 (10 team league) QB: Phillip Rivers RB: Arian Foster RB: Marshawn Lynch WR: Roddy White WR: Jordy Nelson TE: Jermicheal Finely FLEX: Steven Ridley DST: Jets K: Stephen Gostkowski Bench Issac Redman Robert Meachem Big Ben Denarious Moore Benard Scott Mike Williams Tim Tebow Some Notes-- If I can't take a good DST or K then I take them with the last two selections because eventually I will cut them on their bye week -I am really high on Redman and Ridley because of the situations that they are in. - I always select Tim Tebow last selection - RGIII is a great low risk high reward pick, because if he comes out on a great start people will jump the wagon and I can trade him off. I actually had the third pick, and I got lucky having Rodgers and Rice being taken, so I can have Foster fall to me. Then I think with my outstanding running game with all Foster, Lynch, and Murray (not to mention Vick as well), I think I will go pretty far in that one. The other two I like as well, but I believe that the third one would top them.

Maverick 791 Posted September 5, 2012 Some of these rosters (eightnine, JD's latest auction draft, BLUE) you guys have are incredible. O_O Are you guys drafting with six year olds? I listen to Sirius XM Fantasy Football radio sometimes and some of the questions I hear from callers amaze me. "Hey John, quick question for ya. 12-man league, PPR, I can only start two. I have Foster, Rice, and McCoy." Umm...

War Eagle714 16 Posted September 7, 2012 12 team, PPR, Auction Draft w/$200 budget, $100 buy-in QB - Matt Stafford $38 RB - Adrian Peterson $39 RB - Frank Gore $26 WR - Calvin Johnson $46 WR - Wes Welker $29 TE - Jason Witten $11 W/R - Evan Royster $1 W/T - Santana Moss $2 K - Dan Bailey $1 DST - Detroit $1 ------- BN - Alex Smith $1 BN - Brandon Jacobs $1 BN - Dexter McCluster $1 BN - Laurent Robinson $1 BN - Kevin Ogeltree $1 BN - Dustin Keller $1 Peterson for $39 was a bargain, considering Ray Rice went for $64, Foster $59, and McCoy $58. The Vikings' offense being so bad and AD's knee injury have obviously dropped his stock but in today's game of multi-RB ground games and uber-passing, Peterson is a lock to touch the ball a ton in every game. The worst move was Gore but I'm hoping he can put together 1 more season of ground and pound; stay healthy. Detroit's defense lead the league in interceptions and forced fumbles last season...so as bad as they can be, they do amass points. I obviously put all of my money in my top 6 but I do my homework and I'm confident that I'll be able to keep my flex positions and bench with players who will remain productive. Every season I manage to find at least 1 hidden gem who turns out to be a major play difference-maker.
