Krawnka 282 Posted August 22, 2011 Priest, actually better than I'd expected...guess I'll have to add that one to another Comic book movie that I dig.
GA_Eagle 595 Posted August 23, 2011 Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Pretty bad. Shoul've been a lot darker, but went more kid friendly than the previous two movies, imo.
Krawnka 282 Posted August 23, 2011 Big Stan.....I dug it.
SteVo+ 3,702 Posted August 26, 2011 Citizen Kane. Easy to see why this is considered a classic. Despite coming out in 1941, it feels like it was made in the 60's or 70's, considering all the modern filmmaking techniques it employs. It still feels like an old movie, of course, but is very much worth watching.

Maverick 791 Posted September 6, 2011 ^indeed, that's a pretty funny movie. The Road Warrior. 80s flick with Mel Gibson. Kinda weird, but it was awesome and I'd definitely watch it if it was on again. The music was a joke, though, and I'm surprised by that for an 80s film...
Krawnka 282 Posted September 6, 2011 (edited) The Road Warrior. 80s flick with Mel Gibson. One of my all time favorite flicks. PS. it was made back in the day when movie soundtracks sucked, nobody bought soundtrack cassette tapes back then.. "Heavy Metal" and "American Pop" were exceptions to the rule. rzb+ 367 Posted September 6, 2011 Trainspotting Indie flick about some heroin users in Scotland. It had its bright moments but most of the time, I was just thinking "WTF?" I did end up wanting to see how everything was going to end.. but if I hadn't watched it in one full sitting, I doubt I would have picked it up again. Anthony 78 Posted September 7, 2011 Piranha- You would think it was produced and directed by Joe Francis of 'Girls Gone Wild'. What an awful flick.
SteVo+ 3,702 Posted September 18, 2011 Drive. Outstanding. Though I've seen very few movies this year, this is the best so far. A very strong performance from Ryan Gosling with a good supporting cast. I loved the musical score and the angelic feel the movie had to it. Highly entertaining. 9/10. seanbrock 1,684 Posted September 18, 2011 Cherry, it's about this kid who's really smart. Goes to college, fucks around with a hot ass woman in her 30's and her 14 year old daughter falls in love with him but he doesn't end up fucking her. It was pretty lame. I should have just watched porn instead.
