Thanatos 2,847 Posted May 8, 2012 With the way Quick is goal-tending, and the way the Kings are playing as a team, I think they're going to the Finals, and the Yotes are just one more team in the way. Kings in 5.
Maverick 791 Posted May 8, 2012 I'm going to say Kings in 7. I don't see them dominating another series...
JetsFan4Life 542 Posted May 8, 2012 This is tough. Mike Smith actually had a better save percentage than Quick in the Semifinals. Phoenix has home-ice but Los Angeles is undefeated on the road... I'll go Kings in 6.

I'll go Kings in 6. I really don't get why everyone is making a huge deal of this, they've only lost one game in the playoffs, so they're 3-1 at home in the playoffs, it's no like they're just an amazing road team, they're just having an amazing playoff run, I'd think it's a bigger deal that they're 8-1 overall in the playoffs against the top two teams in their conference than just that they're undefeated at home

But it's more the fact they went into two of the hardest places to play a game as a visitor and have zero losses on the road. Yeah they've definitely had a great playoff run but I'm just pointing out since Los Angeles is undefeated on the road Phoenix's home ice means nothing (considering Phoenix won every home game against Nashville). Bay 2,003 Posted May 10, 2012 Kings will score just enough for J-Quick to win this series. Kings in 6.
Bangy 19 Posted May 10, 2012 Staying with the Kings to make it to the dance. Gut says it will be in 5 however everyone else has said the same thing so. Kings in
Piggly Wiggly 960 Posted May 11, 2012 Kings in 6. Really wouldn't be all that surprised if Phoenix won, though. Should be a pretty tight series.
BigBen07 285 Posted May 14, 2012 ALL RIGHT! Good start for the Kings! 6-0 on the road so far in the playoffs! Keep it up, LA!!!
Bangy 19 Posted May 14, 2012 Dustin Brown is my surename sakes hero, Keep it up LA (Yes I am following them properly)
Thanatos 2,847 Posted May 14, 2012 So, the Yotes two goals came off a nice shot from centerline with a lucky bounce, and a turnover right behind the Kings' net where they got it in the goal before Quick was ready for them. In other words, they never really beat Quick when he was ready for them.
Bay 2,003 Posted May 16, 2012 lol Mike Smith, dumb motherfucker.
Thanatos 2,847 Posted May 16, 2012 (edited) Like I said. The Yotes are just one more team in the way. I was expecting a split in Phoenix and then the Kings to take three straight. Now, I think the Kings are gonna sweep em. Edited May 16, 2012 by Thanatos19
Bay 2,003 Posted May 16, 2012 Hanzal is the only Coyote waiting to see if he'll be suspended. http://www.azcentral.com/sports/coyotes/articles/2012/05/16/20120516coyotes-shane-doan-no-suspension-boarding-penalty-kings-trevor-lewis.html
BigBen07 285 Posted May 20, 2012 I'm not surprised the Coyotes are losing this series. The Kings have really done a fine job so far.

Piggly Wiggly 960 Posted May 20, 2012 Yotes probably win game 5, and then LA closes it out in game 6.
