Which player do you hope your team lands? For the Eagles... Cornerback Keenan Lewis- He had a great season and flew under the radar. He didn't get the picks, but he played great in coverage. Sean Smith- If we can't get Lewis, I wouldn't mind the Eagles trying out Smith for like 5-6 million. Dunta Robinson- IF part ways with Nnamdi and DRC, I wouldn't mind seeing Dunta Robinson for about 5-6 million. I wouldn't mind seeing what Curtis Marsh can do. He played well in his limited appearances. Safety Jairus Byrd- He's not going anywhere. He's going to get bitch slapped so hard with that franchise tag. We'd be able to offer him a good contract with our cap space but I doubt our team garners much interest. I man can pray though. #optimism Dashon Goldson- I was assuming when the 49ers cleared some space by trading Alex Smith, they'd resign Goldson or make a power move for Revis. He isn't getting the tag this year so he may hit free agency again like last year. He's going to receive much more interest this year but I know his heart is with the team he just went to the superbowl with. This is his big pay day so I'm hoping he doesn't take any hometown discounts. Ed Reed- People can say what they want about Reed. Realistically, I know this would never happen but even at this point in his career, I'd take him. Might not be a efficient tackler, but the man can still cover and impact games. Laron Landry- Great tackler, mediocre coverage and still miles ahead of our current safeties. Tight End Fred Davis- Don't see this happening and he isn't on my go-get-em list but if for whatever reason we did land him, I think he would make a nice addition and add some explosiveness to that position on our team. Edit Punter Shane Lechler- I know he had a slightly off year but I wouldn't mind taking a chance on him hoping he rebounds under our roof. DonovanMcnabb for H.O.F 2,241 Posted March 1, 2013 Our terribad salary cap makes me not care about FA. Leodis McKelvin is one, another being Geoff Shwartz.
RazorStar 4,025 Posted March 1, 2013 Clady is 100% getting tagged so he's off the table. I want to pick up Melton, and potentially Amendola, but other than that, just sign some depth guys later on and we'll be good.
Dutch 874 Posted March 1, 2013 Hopefully Clady can stay healthy. He's an amazing tackle. Also, I think Peyton would turn Amendola into Welker.
ATL_Predator+ 1,196 Posted March 1, 2013 Michael Bennett. The Bucs aren't using their tag on anyone...and there's been absolutely no news or sign of movement in their negotiations with him. If he walks. Atlanta needs to get on that ass immediately. Secondly, I want S-Jax. If him and Rodgers split carries in out backfield, that would be quite a force back there. And as far as his age goes...take a look at how he runs still, and notice his agression rise throughout the course of competitive St. Louis Rams games. He's a winner...and I'm sure he'd come to Atlanta at a lowered rate...less than that of lolTurner. Thirdly, I believe we can get a great guard in the draft, but our defensive woes really need to be the main focus of the draft after the 1st round. So a guy like Andy Levitre would be a good option...Blalock, Konz, Levitre would greatly benefit both the run and pass game.
Dutch 874 Posted March 1, 2013 Well, Byrd just got tagged as expected.
AL_Royalty 489 Posted March 1, 2013 I want K.C. to sign Bowe. They can't afford to lose their only real threat in the passing game. If Bowe leaves this season of even next, it won't end well for a Chiefs team that is skeleton crewed at that position. There are some other guys out there who would be nice, but Bowe is the one they should really be focusing on.
Milla4Prez63 678 Posted March 2, 2013 Bucs need to sign two FA corners, IMO. A TE like Martellus Bennett or Dustin Keller as well. I want to re-sign Michael Bennett, but the Bucs don't seem to want to budge on their price for him. He'll either end up vastly overpaid and re-sign for the right deal. butta54 371 Posted March 5, 2013 Of course bringing back our boys Urlacher and Melton is first on the wishlist I would love the get Jake Long, and the way Emery is running things he probably would get the contract he is looking for. On the cheaper end I would like to get Sam Baker or Bushrod to play on the right side to keep Carimi at guard. And for a long shot getting Mike Wallace would be pretty nice. Dutch 874 Posted May 3, 2013 Still some quality free agents out there after the draft. Dwight Freeney- Think he would be a good fit for the Lions as a rotational pass rusher John Abraham- Karlos Dansby Richard Seymour Ahmad Bradshaw Brandon Lloyd Brandon Moore Eric Winston Charles Woodson
Zack_of_Steel+ 3,014 Posted May 4, 2013 (edited) Bradshaw, Dansby, Barnett, Winston. Edited May 4, 2013 by Zack_of_Steel
NY Diehard 26 Posted May 4, 2013 I really don't get why the Jets haven't brought Brandon Moore back, it's obvious that no one is going to pay him the money he was looking for. Unless he's holding out to join a contender, there's no reason not to try and bring him back. I wish we signed Ahmad Bradshaw instead of trading for Chris Ivory too. Bucman 891 Posted May 4, 2013 John Abraham, Dwight Freeney and Ahmad Bradshaw. Also hopefully the Bucs get Mike Williams locked up long term here soon.
housemd 338 Posted May 4, 2013 Ahmad Bradshaw will be a Steeler.

Bucman 891 Posted May 9, 2013 I don't see how Tony Gonzalez grade is only a 83, he is a HOF TE and better than anyone on that list.
Dutch 874 Posted May 9, 2013 Yeah, the grades are all fucked up. Just posted for tracking purposes.
Dutch 874 Posted May 13, 2013 I think Brandon Lloyd would be a good fit in Pittsburgh or the Panthers who need WR depth (if they can afford him).
AllYouNeedIsLovie 377 Posted May 13, 2013 I'm shocked Lloyd is still available. He was productive in New England last year and is not too old. I wonder how cheap he would come.
Dutch 874 Posted May 29, 2013 Still some quality free agents on the street. Some depth players as well. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/transactions/free-agents Ahmad Bradshaw- I thought the Steelers or Broncos would pick him up. The Colts or the Cardinals don't seem like bad ideas either. Brandon Lloyd- I'm surprised he's still on the market. I could see the Steelers being a good fit for him after the departure of Mike Wallace. The Chargers also need a WR as well. I could see Lloyd having success with Rivers; good fit. Richard Seymour- Heard it was some between him and the Falcons. Darryl Smith- He was a very good and underrated player throughout his career. I'm not sure what he has left in the tank. Israel Idonije John Abraham- Heard it was some talks between him and the Titans. I could see Abraham with the Bucs, Lions, or Bengals. Maybe even the Cowboys. They are converting to a 4-3. Not sure who will be opposite Demarcus Ware. Nick Barnett- He had over 100 tackles last year but he may serve as a good depth player in a 3-4 this late into his career Brandon Moore
AllYouNeedIsLovie 377 Posted May 29, 2013 I think it would be wise for the 49ers to take a good look at Brandon Lloyd. With Crabtree gone for most of the season, they need someone to replace him. I like Boldin, but he isn't a #1 receiver.
Dutch 874 Posted May 29, 2013 I think it would be wise for the 49ers to take a good look at Brandon Lloyd. With Crabtree gone for most of the season, they need someone to replace him. I like Boldin, but he isn't a #1 receiver. The 49ers also have Vernon who I believe will get more targets and step up big. Vernon probably won't reach his potential with the 49ers because they run the ball too much and Vernon doesn't get targeted enough. He's their most dangerous passing option period and he's heavily under utilized.
.AirMcNair. 1,232 Posted May 29, 2013 After that deal Freeney got, trying to sign Abraham is going to be a bitch. Abraham is twice the player Freeney is(at this point in their careers).
