Sparty 110 Posted December 5, 2015 Have they been good? I have the Leftovers on my DVR. Also, Viking, I gave up on AHS after two episodes. I have to recommend Fargo. It's a great television series. I haven't caught up all on this season, but I can tell you season 1 was very great. Billy Bob Thornton played an amazing Malvo an Martin Freeman was great as always. You'll be hooked by episode 1's ending, so it's not like Breaking Bad where you have to get through some episodes to get to some good stuff. It's not only them, though, the show has an all-around great cast in both seasons.
OSUViking 505 Posted December 7, 2015 I did like the way it was handled, though. I still enjoyed the episode, but it's still bad how predictable it is.
CampinWithaMissingPerson 2,025 Posted December 8, 2015 Have they been good? I have the Leftovers on my DVR. Also, Viking, I gave up on AHS after two episodes. Season 2 of Leftovers is really good, season 1 is really depressing Season 2 of Fargo is IMO on par and maybe even better than season 1 if you can believe it. It's just flat out the best show on TV. It's just flat out the best show on TV. Speaking of The Leftovers, it has been renewed for season 3. It will be the final season, but it's definitely way better when the creators decide it's time to end a series. http://screenrant.com/leftovers-season-3-final-season-damon-lindelof/

CampinWithaMissingPerson 2,025 Posted December 16, 2015 Season finale of season 2 very anti-climatic, although you basically get the finale episode it's just the 2nd last episode.
Bay 2,003 Posted December 23, 2015 Can I get some Christmas movie suggestions? Even if you think I've seen it, just list it anyway. Never seen classics like Miracle on 34th Street, It's a Wonderful Life, A Christmas Story. I usually watch Home Alone & The Santa Clause lol. I'd like to check out more. Vin+ 3,121 Posted December 23, 2015 Elf has started to become something I watch every holiday season.

theMileHighGuy 656 Posted December 24, 2015 (edited) I watched both seasons of iZombie, and bought my aunt the first season for xmas. Easily the best show on the CW. The best Christmas movies are Die Hard and Jingle All the Way. Edited December 24, 2015 by theMileHighGuy
BwareDWare94 723 Posted January 3, 2016 I'm currently watching season 10 of Supernatural. I really wish they'd have just ended after 7 or 8 seasons. Dear god this shit is getting bad, but I'm one of those people who has to know how the story ends.

RazorStar 4,025 Posted January 15, 2016 Evangelion is very good at these sort of descriptive shots. Things I never typically notice I notice all the time now because it's just done so well.

SteVo+ 3,702 Posted January 17, 2016 Marathoned season one of True Detective. Just amazing in every way. Top-notch acting, very atmospheric with its noir feel, and a clinic on how to do flashbacks effectively. Now I need to watch season two to find out what sucked. FartWaffles 1,857 Posted January 18, 2016 Now I need to watch season two to find out what sucked. Character development is not nearly as good, and the storyline is extremely convoluted and hard to follow.
Vin+ 3,121 Posted January 25, 2016 Tomorrow. So that ended up being largely meh. Hopefully the subsequent episodes are better. But it almost doesn't matter if this is just a six-episode one off and X-Files is never heard of again. Finished up the 2nd season of Fargo today. (Haven't seen any of the first season. ) Pretty awesome season of television. Great cast, great everything, really. Mike's the best. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlhPBH-0ryI
Barracuda 629 Posted January 26, 2016 If anyone likes the Twilight Zone stuff there's this show on Netflix called Black Mirror. It's pretty much a modern version. The first episode is worth a watch even if you don't like Twilight Zone. That's definitely something they couldn't do on TV in the 1960's
BwareDWare94 723 Posted January 26, 2016 FINALLY started Breaking Bad. I don't think it's as entirely great as everybody thinks it is, but the times it does hit home are incredible. My favorite scenes so far are Jesse at his parents' place. So real.

Season 1 is pretty meh, as is the first half or so of season 2, but after that it gets really good and pretty much stays that way until the show ends. RazorStar 4,025 Posted January 26, 2016 Breaking Bad is overrated and actually just never lives up to the hype it was supposed to deliver on. *gets crucified*
