seanbrock 1,684 Posted April 2, 2011 (edited) The St. Louis Rams select Nate Irving Hard to believe Nate Irving slipped so far, The Rams are happy to make this addition to their defense. He has a great story too. Early in his career as a freshman and Sophmore Irving looked like a play maker and a leader on the Wolfpack defense, but in '09 he had a terrible car accident that left him out of football for a year. The accident resulted in a compound fracture, a collapsed lung, a broken rib and a separated shoulder. He battled back though and in 2010 he was again one of the better LB's in the country only a very short time after his horrific car accident. This guy is going to put the work in to become a very good player in the NFL. Edited April 2, 2011 by seanijuana

STEVEN FRIDAY, OUTSIDE LINEBACKER, VIRGINIA TECH A great athlete, with amazing burst and explosion off the snap. Has above average speed and will be more than adequate when asked to drop into coverage. One of my big sleepers in this years draft. SteVo+ 3,702 Posted April 3, 2011 With the 153rd selection in the 2011 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select Virgil Green, tight end, Nevada. A mid-round prospect I really like. Not counting on him to be a starter but the Eagles have lacked a quality no. 2 tight end for some time now.

seanbrock 1,684 Posted April 8, 2011 The Bengals select Stephen Burton The guy had the production you look for even though it was a small school notching 70 receptions for 1021 yards and 11 TD's last year. The knock on him aside from him being a small school player was that he didn't have the natural burst or speed, but Burton put all those concerns to rest. At 6'1" and 224 lbs Burton ran a 4.38 40 with a 1.46 10 yard split. Gil Brandt thinks he could go late 3rd round at this point.
