әightninә. 39 Posted January 6, 2012 (edited) Poutine, Walkie-Talkies, Telephones, Basketball, Snow-blowers, IMAX, Caesars, Batteries, Peanut Butter. Me? And weed is used in our health care. Edited January 6, 2012 by әightninә.
NaTaS+ 958 Posted January 6, 2012 When walkie-talkies are mentioned, I think the thread has run it's course. It seems not a lot of cool things have come from Canada. Sorry Canucks.
әightninә. 39 Posted January 6, 2012 (edited) There's nothing wrong with walkie-talkies! As per neg-repping me for basketball, I think you're just mad because of Lebron. Weed isn't used in all of the United States, and isn't prescribed half as much. Edited January 6, 2012 by әightninә.

I negged you because it was already explained in this thread that basketball was invented in the US by a Canadian. Know your history: http://www.kansasheritage.org/people/naismith.html I also said that weed is used in some states, I did not indicate that all states use it. And Peanut Butter? http://inventors.about.com/library/inventors/blpeanutbutter.htm Does anyone outside of Canada eat Poutine?

You're a Cleveland sports fan, and based on the fact your team is right up there with Bangy in failing, I'd assume you're still bitter about it. Also, at the time, Springfield was still a part of Canada. Finally, as per peanut butter, it was first patented by a Canadian. For further on any of the following: http://en.wikipedia....dian_inventions Are you 5? Seriously? No, I am not bitter about LeBron leaving the Cavs. I'm enjoying watching our new young rookies and like the offense playing in a way it never did with LBJ. This conversation has nothing to do with LeBron or the Cavs, so lets move on. First, the fact that you think Springfield, Mass was a part of Canada in 1891 is so fucking fail - it eclipses a Bangy fail. You have reinvented the very definition of fail here at TGP. Secondly, patented does not mean invented. George Washington Carver (An American) was often credited with the invention of peanut butter. While he may have made peanut butter, the preparation arose in other cultures independently. The Aztecs (not Canadian btw) were known to have made it from ground peanuts in the 15th cent[/url]ury.

Not to mention his team, which is "right up there with Bangy in failing", beat the Colts this year. What does that make your team?
