rzb+ 367 Posted July 27, 2013 I was assigned my first real job Monday. I'm estimating 25,000 tons of steel top to bottom. The best part though is that the structure is going to be in my birthplace of Bay City, Texas. Really made me feel like I picked the right profession and employer. Also, got the keys to my new apartment today. So after the Ultimate Frisbee tournament tomorrow, I'll see what kind of talent is around the pool before moving in my stuff on Sunday. Have a good weekend fellas.
BC 331 Posted July 27, 2013 Nice you two. I've had a few good interviews just haven't found my right fit yet. I assume you both just graduated college too? The most likely scenario for me is that I'll be a server here pretty soon, because that is what will be the most flexible with a high school football reffing schedule. I'll have to get Monday, Wednesday, and Friday off. But that should all net me a solid $5,000 altogether to start (I be broke atm). The full time design career will still be pursued, even more heavily once fall arrives.
JetsFan4Life 542 Posted August 1, 2013 Got rid of my 02 Dodge Intrepid and am now leasing for the first time in my life. Got myself a brand new 2013 Ford Fusion (black) and absolutely loving it. Paying less than $300 a month too! Not to mention this will be awesome way to build my credit.

CribbsForTheWin 117 Posted August 1, 2013 Found out I get field passes for every home game, and get to watch all of the games from the press box at Redskins games today. So that was pretty cool to hear.
RazorStar 4,025 Posted August 1, 2013 So good news. My cat went out around 4 hours ago, just all of a sudden disappeared. We've been looking for her for about 2 hours now and we finally found her under our neighbours deck.

rzb+ 367 Posted August 6, 2013 I attended my first major music festival, Lollapalooza, last weekend.. and holy shit. The Killers were absolutely amazing, definitely deserving the headline. Ellie Goulding was my next favorite. Not only is she talented but also sexy as hell. Others that I really enjoyed were San Cisco, Two Door Cinema Club, Phoenix, Band of Horses, Mumford & Sons, Steve Aoki, and Kendrick Lamar. Those that fell way short of expectations were Imagine Dragons, Icona Pop, The Lumineers, Major Lazer, and 2 Chainz. Saturday after the festival, we went out to The Victoria and saw Matt & Kim. Hands down, the best small venue concert I've ever attended. Full of energy, laughs, and Kim being a slut.

ATL_Predator+ 1,196 Posted August 7, 2013 Halfway through my Army combat medic training...the worst is pretty much behind. Allowing for me to have somewhat of a life again. As a Reservist...I'm going back to school, and I got into an ROTC program for a Northeastern PA Catholic School. Ultimately, it solidifies the fact that in 3 years I'll be a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army. Also looking at local hospitals near my school to work as an EMT while in school. ...also, I'm debt free from school, cars, and the other expenses of life...and knowing I won't have to pay another dime for tuition makes it all the better. I just want to say, life is taking me to places that I never would've thought of. and the best part...I'm back here for football season.
