Brandon Browner played 4ish games last year. He won't last long in NE.

Thought the Lions would let Pettigrew walk and target Ebron.

I like the Patriots picking up Browner, after four games watch out....

Packers signed Julius Peppers, formerly of the Bears, to a three-year, $30 million deal.

The deal includes $7.5 million guaranteed.

There's a bit of spending by the Packers.

Panthers agreed to terms with S Roman Harper, formerly of the Saints, on a two-year, $4.5 million contract.

The deal includes a $1.5 million signing bonus, which could be the extent of Harper's guaranteed money. Although the Panthers' safety corps is anything but settled, it's possible Harper is being signed with a situational role in mind. Now 31, Harper can't cover, but is still a passable in-the-box safety.

Patriots re-signed WR Julian Edelman.

Sanity wins out for both sides, though only after Edelman didn't hear the price he wanted on the open market.

Raiders re-signed FS Usama Young to a two-year contract.

Steelers signed NT Cam Thomas, formerly of the Chargers, to a two-year, $4 million contract.

Guy I wanted them to draft. Hopefully he'll blossom under LeBeau and solve our NT need.

49ers agreed to terms with CB Chris Cook, formerly of the Vikings, on a one-year contract.

Chargers re-signed CB Richard Marshall to a one-year contract.

Bears re-signed CB Charles Tillman to a one-year contract.

The deal is reportedly worth "just under" $3.5 million. Tillman visited the Bucs and former Bears coach Lovie Smith in free agency, but otherwise received zero interest.

Bills agreed to terms with RB Anthony Dixon, formerly of the 49ers.

Vikings re-signed LG Charlie Johnson to a two-year, $2.5 million contract.
Johnson has struggled to play above replacement-level the last three seasons and graded out as Pro Football Focus' No. 48 guard in 2013. He won't be guaranteed a starting job, but provides the Vikings with a veteran option if they fail to upgrade through the draft. Johnson, 30, is also capable of playing tackle and would be best suited for a "swing" role.

http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/285164/broncos-agree-to-deal-with-emmanuel-sanders

Broncos agreed to terms with WR Emmanuel Sanders, formerly of the Steelers.

Sanders never even visited with the Broncos, but will replace Eric Decker as the No. 3 receiver behind Demaryius Thomas and Wes Welker. It's an ideal landing spot for his fantasy value, though Sanders won't be higher than the No. 4 option in the passing game. Sanders was reportedly seeking a contract in the range of Golden Tate's $13 million guaranteed, but may have had to settle for a short-term deal due to medical concerns. If he can stay healthy for a full season, Sanders has a strong chance to improve on his 67/740/6 line from 2013 playing in a Peyton Manning led offense. The Chiefs, Jets, 49ers, and Jaguars also showed interest in Sanders prior to signing with Denver.

Seahawks agreed to terms with K Steven Hauschka to a three-year, $9.15 million contract.

The deal includes $3.35 million guaranteed. Hauschka has quietly emerged as one of the game's most reliable kickers, going 57-of-62 (91.9 percent) on field goals over the last two seasons. That includes an 11-of-12 mark from 40-49 yards out and a perfect 3-of-3 from 50+ last season. Hauschka's average annual salary of $3.05 million is in line with recent deals signed by Jets K Nick Folk and Panthers K Graham Gano. Hauschka was fantasy's No. 4 kicker last season, a ranking he won't have trouble repeating. Mar 17 - 10:55 AM

Ugh... I wanted the Eagles to make a move for him sooo bad... Alex Henerey can't cut it. Too inconsistent and misses crucial FG's in playoff games.

Giants beat writer Dan Graziano says it seemed clear that Hakeem Nicks' "chief motivation" last season "was to stay healthy so that he could cash in as a free agent."

The Colts are hoping Nicks' effectiveness was sapped by his mind, not an accumulation of lower-body injuries. He posted a 56-896-0 line, reportedly frustrating coaches with his inability to get open and make plays. The other concern is that 26-year-old Nicks is operating on a one-year deal once again, leaving Graziano to wonder if he'll tip-toe through another season. There are a lot of yellow flags here despite Nicks' natural talent and the presence of Andrew Luck.

Saints re-signed RT Zach Strief to a five-year, $20.5 million contract.

Strief, who gets $8.5 million guaranteed, was our No. 2 tackle still available behind only Donald Penn. The 30-year-old veteran is coming off his best NFL season, as he started 15 games for the Saints while allowing just four sacks and five quarterback hits. The re-signing is excellent news for Drew Brees, as the 6'7/320 Strief has emerged as an elite pass blocker. He'll bookend with exciting left tackle prospect Terron Armstead.

Eagles re-signed S Nate Allen to a one-year, $2 million contract.

There's another $1 million available in playing-time incentives. Allen, the No. 37 overall pick in 2010, was a horrific bust through his first three seasons. But he showed enough improvement last season that the Eagles are going to give him another chance. He'll likely compete with Earl Wolff to be Philly's starting strong safety opposite new FS Malcolm Jenkins.

Cowboys signed QB Brandon Weeden to a two-year contract.

Weeden, 43 30, made 20 starts in Cleveland the past two seasons, compiling a 5-15 record with a 23:26 TD-to-INT ratio and 55.9 completion rate. A former top-prospect baseball pitcher, Weeden has always possessed plus arm strength but has very little athleticism and is maddeningly deliberate in all of his movements. His skill set makes an offensive line look worse. The Cowboys need arms for the offseason program with Kyle Orton undecided about playing in 2014, and Tony Romo coming off back surgery.

Raiders signed WR James Jones, formerly of the Packers, to a three-year contract.

Jones, 30, set career highs in catches (59) and yards (817) last season with Green Bay, scoring three touchdowns after leading the NFL in touchdown catches (14) the previous year. He gives the Raiders a physical presence with an ability to win contested catches and stretch the field. Unfortunately, Jones going to quarterback-less Oakland could be a death knell for his fantasy outlook. We fully expect Jones to start, but the rest of the Raiders' receiver pecking order is to-be-determined between Denarius Moore, Rod Streater, and Andre Holmes.

Raiders signed OL Kevin Boothe, formerly of the Giants, to a two-year contract.
Boothe can play every position on the offensive line save left tackle, though he's best suited for the interior. The soon-to-be 31-year-old was drafted by the Raiders in the sixth round of the 2006 draft and played one season for the Silver and Black before going to New York. Ideally, he'd be a versatile reserve.

Giants signed KR Trindon Holliday, formerly of the Texans, to a one-year contract.
Holliday wasn't tendered an offer as an exclusive rights free agent by the Broncos. The soon-to-be 28-year-old is a dynamic return man but has fumbled 11 times the past two years. He averaged 8.5 yards on punt returns and 27.7 yards on kickoff returns in 2013. Holliday has four return scores in two seasons.

Jaguars signed WR/PR Tandon Doss, formerly of the Ravens.
Doss, 24, has just 26 career catches for 428 yards and one touchdown through three seasons but did lead the league with his 15.6 yards-per-return on punts last season, bringing one back to the house. Ace Sanders handled those duties for Jacksonville last season but averaged a pitiful 5.6 yards per return.

Bears signed DL Israel Idonije, formerly of the Lions, to a one-year contract.
After a one-season stop in Detroit, Idonije returns to the Windy City where he spent the previous nine seasons. The 33-year-old is a movable piece along the defensive front for DC Mel Tucker but will have to earn his roster spot. Idonije appeared in 15 games last season, notching 11 tackles and a half-sack.

Browns signed WR Andrew Hawkins, formerly of the Bengals, to a four-year, $13.6 million contract.
The Bengals had until midnight to match the Browns' offer sheet but informed Hawkins they weren't going to do so. Four years and $13.6 million with a $5.8 million first-year cap number is a hefty price to pay for a 5-foot-7, 180-pound jitterbug slot receiver, but the Browns badly needed a talent infusion on offense. Hawkins can turn simple plays into monster gains with his speed. Tavon Austin drew some Hawkins comparisons last April. Hawkins will be the No. 3 option in the passing game, behind target monster Josh Gordon and Jordan Cameron.

Bears agreed to terms with S Danny McCray, formerly of the Cowboys, on a one-year contract.
A special teamer, McCray has spent his entire four-year career with the Cowboys. He managed just nine snaps for Dallas' dreadful defense last season.

Falcons agreed to terms with CB/KR Javier Arenas, formerly of the Cardinals, on a one-year contract.
The 2010 second-round pick of the Chiefs appeared in all 16 games for the Cardinals last season, but managed only 107 snaps on defense. He was near the bottom of the league in kick-return average. Arenas won't be guaranteed a spot on the Falcons' 53-man roster.

Redskins signed ILB Akeem Jordan.
The Redskins continue to stockpile depth and special teams help at inside linebacker. Jordan, 28, joins Adam Hayward and Keenan Robinson behind Perry Riley and Darryl Sharpton. Jordan had 67 tackles and two forced fumbles while starting 10 games for the Chiefs last season. This will be his first NFL season without Andy Reid as his head coach.

Raiders re-signed S Charles Woodson on a one-year deal.
The 37-year-old Woodson was an effective every-down safety in 2013, recording 97 tackles, one interception and three forced fumbles. Woodson is obviously on the tail end of his career, but he has shown few signs of slowing down and should continue to provide a steady, veteran presence in the Oakland secondary.

Bengals signed QB Jason Campbell to a one-year deal.
The 32-year-old Campbell had his best success in the NFL under Bengals' OC Hue Jackson while both were in Oakland. He will provide a solid, veteran backup for Andy Dalton. Campbell posted an 11:8 TD-to-INT ratio in eight starts for the Browns last season.

Vikings agreed to terms with DT Tom Johnson, formerly of the Saints, on a one-year, $845,000 deal.
He can earn an additional $600,000 in incentives. Johnson recorded two sacks and 13 tackles as a rotational tackle in New Orleans last season. Johnson's signing might spell the end for free agent DT Kevin Williams in Minnesota.

Raiders GM Reggie McKenzie says letting Jared Veldheer walk "wasn't about finances," and that "the kid didn't want to play for the Raiders anymore."

"I struggled with that," McKenzie admitted. It's a delicate situation when a player wants to walk, but at least publicly, Veldheer said he wanted to remain a Raider. Speaking in early February, Veldheer expressed bafflement at the Raiders' lukewarm efforts to re-sign him. Even if Veldheer was maneuvering behind the scenes to escape Oakland, McKenzie still held all the cards thanks to the franchise tag. If he truly wanted to retain Veldheer, there was nothing stopping him.

Broncos re-signed OT Winston Justice to a one-year contract.
Justice, 29, played under 20 snaps in Denver last season despite LT Ryan Clady's year-ending pectoral injury. With Clady due back healthy and Chris Clark likely kicking to right tackle, Justice will have to fight for a reserve job.

Redskins signed G/C Mike McGlynn to a one-year contract.
McGlynn, 29, was a liability in 14 starts with Indianapolis last season, but brings versatility to D.C. and 48 career starts. At 6'4/325, McGlynn also fits the new size profile for a Washington team trying to get bigger up front.

Thank you Redskins. Packers were interested in McGlynn and I didn't want that to happen.
