I'm saying that society will adjust to more modern values as a whole in the coming decades. There is no breakthrough moment for society where we as a collective unit decide to be good to minorities. These are people that have been "herp derp minorities suck" for the entirety of their lives. You're not going to convince the older crowd that they're wrong on that shit. People from 30 and under have taken the torch as true progressives and we're going to really see that take off here soon. Definitely not to the point where we need to sacrifice social progress for it. Both can happen at the same time. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Obama is a socialist. He's watered down compared to Bernie, but he's still a socialist. And yet, by the end of this year, the US dollar is projected to be worth as much as the Euro for the first time in 15 years. Investments in domestic energy are paying off big time for us. The unemployment rate continues to decrease. Gas is cheaper than it has been in a very long time. We're back. I can't vote for any candidate that wants to take my paycheck and take even more out of it than what is already taken. Call me greedy, call me selfish... I don't really mind.
