What needs to be done

What do you think your team needs to do do this season in order to bring home the trophy? What players should be on the field? How can they fix the mistakes from last year?

New England needs to do a few key things in order to bring home the Lombardi in February. First off, they need to develop a pass-rush that puts pressure on opposing QB's. This will help out NE's secondary and will give their offense more time to put up points. They need to get off the field after third down. NE was the worst in third down defense, and as a result, allowed the opposing team to get more scoring opportunities. They need to stay healthy, especially on defense. Last year the secondary took an early hit with losing Bodden and the defensive line was a disaster. They need to run the ball consistantly and spread it around to who works in specific situations. They need to have someone step up and become a legit deep threat to help pull safties away from their coverage on other WR's/TE's, making Brady's job easier. If New England can get to the QB while staying healthy and can put their offense on the field more while playing better (Yes, I know they were the best offense last year), then I see no reason why they can't win the Super Bowl.

5. Our FG kicker NEEDS to be good.

3. Felix needs to show why he's the primary back.

4. Defense needs to know Rob's schemes inside and out.

Fixed your rankings.

The Packers need to fix that o-line right now. It has played horrible all preseason. Also need to develop some depth on the d-line, find an OLB to play across from Matthews, and work on special teams some more.

:Redskins:

1.Find the long-term answer at QB (not gonna happen this season)

2. Finish remaking the defense into the top-10 force that it has been for the better part of the last 10 seasons.

3. The O-line needs to learn to zone block and create lanes for the RB so the offense can be successful.

Judging from the preseason so far, it seems that they have been working hard on the second and third. The jury is still way out on number one.

1. More consistent punting

2. Our 2 headed monster at RB both need to be healthy with the loss of our starting TE and a 100 catch reciever running will be essential

3. Defense (#1 in takeaways last year) need to be just as good or close, which i'm not sure about with the massive injuries we have suffered already

4. Eli needs to play big but at the same time PROTECT the ball

1. Defense needs to play at an above average or elite level.

The offense is going to be as explosive as it always is (maybe even moreso with Dez featuring in a more prominent role) and the special teams are always going to be good with Joe D at the helm. If the defense can just keep opposing teams out of the endzone, Dallas could be very good.

QB, offensive line, runningback, pressure the QB, crash the line on running plays better, better pass coverage, and perhaps a new head coach.

Other than that, we look fantastic.

1. Sign CJ

2. Defense adjust quickly to the new scheme and dominant.

3. Hasselbeck stay healthy / Cook breakout

We can go 10-6 with this squad definitly, but could go 6-10 easily as well. It starts with 2 and 3 bcuz im sure we get CJ signed before week one. We have a numbers passing game with Hasselbeck and if Cook can break out, him and Britt with CJ gunna be hard to stop. Specially when Hawkins or Williams steps up. Def wise i havent seen enough to make a call but i hope they can get better quick.

1. REALLY need to shore up the offensive line. Looked horrible this preseason.

2. Get better on 3rd downs (defensively) we are allowing too many extended drives

3. Don't let Aaron develop tunnel vision for any one WR or TE. Spread the ball around, keep defenses confused.

4. Incorporate more no huddle. Goes along with keeping defenses on their heels.

5. Repeat

1. Fire both our offensive and defensive coordinators

2. Work more on special teams...terrible looking so far this pre-season

3. Interior o-linemen need to anchor their shit and hold the line, our tackles are doing great protecting the edges, now do your damn jobs Guards and center

This. Except I like BVG to an extent. He needs a real nickel to work with, the defensive system would work if we had a defensive back capable of playing nickel. When Brian Williams was at that spot, our defense was great. But we can never cover the slot. And it seems whenever there are more than 4 receivers on field, our defense collapses.

BVG is as knowledgeable as Stevo's non-existant penis when it comes to being a coordinator. Our secondary is average at best, but hell bound awful normally...you wanna know why? The way BVG positions our front four is terrible. He's a terrible defensive lineman coach, because our back 7 are all decent..but our front four are the strength of the defense. ...with that said...how the hell are we so awful getting to the QB? Our Run D is good...but how the hell are our dlineman(who are all pretty decent) doing so poorly. BVG my friend. BfuckingVG.

Saints need to get their Defense back to the level it was in 2009; if New Orleans can defend as well as in their SB winning season, they'll win it again.

The Patriots need to learn how to win when Brady doesn't throw for 350 yards, 3 TDs and no INTs. win ugly.

also, the OLine needs to stop choking in the playoffs. most overrated OLine in football by far.

Your Oline stinks at times too? Who's among the worst on it?

1. Run the ball. Say what you will about the pass protection of our OL, but they are built to grind and grind well.

2. Keep Vick healthy. This means Vick needs to slide and the OL needs to step up big time. I like that Herremans is our RT, but now we might be a bit vulnerable on the inside. Which brings me to #3

3. If Watkins wants to have good season, he needs to keep hitting the weights and mastering the technique of a new position in a pretty new sport to make sure he won't get pushed back by some of the bigger DT's.

4. Casey Matthews needs to continue to bulk up and just worry about one game and one play at a time.

5. DB's really need to tackle.

6. Vick needs to master the hot routes. He seemed to call out protections better this preseason than last season, but he made some bad throws to covered areas.

7. Juan Castillo needs to let the DL create the pass rush, with occasional blitzes, and start the season with a safe defense, and make it more complex as the season rolls on.

8. Brent Celek needs to get the ball more. Jeremy Maclin needs to get the ball more. DeSean Jackson is our most dangerous weapon, but Maclin, Celek, McCoy, and Avant (and Smith?) are going to be the heart and soul of this offense.

9. Our red zone efficiency needs to improve. We can drive it up the field all we want, but if we're constantly getting 3 instead of 7, we are going to let teams run the ball on our defense and catch up.

10. Andy Reid needs to try not to fuck this up. If he can't win a SB in 3 years with a healthy QB and this team, then it's probably a fail on his part.
