Alu Alu 6 Posted September 6, 2011 Most Valuable Player - I don't know, Big Ben I guess. Offensive Player of the Year - Phillip Rivers Defensive Player of the Year - D-Ware Coach of the Year - Raheem Morris Offensive Rookie of the Year - Julio Jones (original right?) Defensive Rookie of the Year - Von Miller Comeback Player of the Year - Elvis Dumervil
Glanvilles Grits 142 Posted September 6, 2011 Most Valuable Player - Tom Brady, Patriots Offensive Player of the Year - Adrian Peterson, Vikings Defensive Player of the Year - Clay Matthews or DWare (Can't decide) Coach of the Year - Raheem Morris Offensive Rookie of the Year - Julio Jones, Falcons Defensive Rookie of the Year - Aldon Smith, 49ers Comeback Player of the Year - Matthew Stafford (If he stays healthy, Lions = Playoffs, book it.) Offensive rookie of the year was the toughest one. If LeShoure didn't get injured for the Lions, he was hands down my favorite for that award, but I went with the consensus. SteVo+ 3,702 Posted September 6, 2011 Most Valuable Player: Drew Brees. Expecting big things from him this year and we all know the Saints live and die with him. Offensive Player of the Year: Drew Brees. See above. Defensive Player of the Year: DeMarcus Ware. So many great pass rushers but I think Ware and Rob Ryan is a match made in heaven. Coach of the Year: Mike McCarthy. I considered Spagnuolo, but I think the Rams making the playoffs would be a bi-product of the lolNFCWest more than anything. I'm expecting Green Bay to dominate all this year, and when that happens, your coach gets the award; it's happened with Belichick twice. Offensive Rookie of the Year: Julio Jones. Two things make this one an easy pick for me: 1) the Falcons and Matt Ryan have already shown their desire to make Jones a stable of their offense and get him touches; 2) there's already so much hype surrounding Jones that all he needs to do is have a decent season to win the award. See Ndamukong Suh last year. Defensive Rookie of the Year: Marcell Dareus. Nobody jumps out at me for this one so I'll think outside the box a little bit. Comeback Player of the Year: Elvis Dumervil. John Fox knows how to get the most out of his pass rushers.

Phins4life 271 Posted September 6, 2011 MVP: Aaron Rodgers. The Packers are my favorite right now to do it again, and it will be in no small part due to Rodgers. Offensive POTY: Michael Vick. He's lightning in a bottle, even at his age, and if he stays healthy I don't see why he can't produce a 3K/1K type of season. Defensive POTY: Clay Matthews. It was a toss up for me between Clay and Cameron Wake. Both are tenacious and fast, and both are going to get to the QB alot this year. COTY: Schwartz. I like underdogs, and I think that if he can get the Lions into the wild card playoff race, he'll make a good case for it. Offensive ROTY: Julio Jones, for pretty much the same reasons Stevo said. My dark horse pick: Roy Helu Defensive ROTY: Patrick Peterson. Comeback POTY: If we are including injury comebacks, I'll take Tony Romo. Otherwise, I'll go with Plax. westbrookforsix 28 Posted September 6, 2011 MVP: Mike Vick. I can only hope. He has the skill, let's see if he's got the brain and the body to stay healthy. But if we do something crazy like end up 1st place in the NFC at the end of the season, who's to say he doesn't deserve to be in this conversation? Offensive POY: Andre Johnson. I've just got a feeling. Odds are it's a running back though, and AP is my honest favorite to win it. Defensive POY: Trent Cole. Once again, I can only hope. Washburn's wide scheme is probably going to see a spike in Cole's sack #'s, and the sack stats are really the only thing holding this beast back in these conversations so far, as he has almost been too disciplined as a run stopper (which is fine by me). Honest odds are in today's NFL, he gets overlooked in favor of a 3-4 OLB. Coach: A lot of people like Jim Schwartz... I do too. Rookie O: Julio Jones... I was really not that into the NCAA the past 2 seasons, so I'm going with a guy that I've seen play for a long time and is going into a good situation. Rookie D: Patrick Peterson Comeback: Donovan McNabb with the mental comeback. Tony Romo with the physical comeback.
