butta54 371 Posted March 22, 2016 With the 25th pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, The Pittsburgh Steelers select.... Jack Conklin, OT, Michigan State Reminds me of the time DeCastro fell in the Steelers lap in the draft. Well now Pittsburgh is celebrating again as we get the third best tackle in this class. Been working for so many years to get a tough and healthy unit that can keep Big Ben clean in the pocket where he will really do damage. Problem with Conklin is his style, size, and attitude shows a right tackle, but his feet are so good and scream left tackle. For us....that's a good problem to have.
BC 331 Posted March 22, 2016 (edited) With the 26th pick in the 2016 Mock NFL Draft, the Seattle Seahawks select . . . Jarran Reed, DT, Alabama Brandon Mebane signed with the Chargers, so our front suddenly became a weakness. And with our efforts to move up for elite blocking talent coming up short, we find the next best solution. A devastating run stuffer to once again prove this defense to be one of the nastiest in the NFL. Often held, rarely blocked. butta54 371 Posted March 22, 2016 With the 28th pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, The Kansas City Chiefs select...... Artie Burns, CB, Miami Tough-nosed, but very mature. A kid who is the legal guardian of all his younger siblings after losing his mother to cancer while in college. A football and track star at the U.....tough choice between CBs....but his speed, length, and instincts won out. You thought Marcus Peters was good? Well hold on to your butts AFCW cause the blitz is coming as we throw these two young corners in man coverage and crank up the heat at Arrowhead.
ATL_Predator+ 1,196 Posted March 22, 2016 With the 29th pick of the NFL Draft... the Arizona Cardinals select : Out of Baylor... DL/NT Andrew Billings You ever hear the phrase... "I'm a little tea pot short and stout?" Yeah. This is the guy that was being alluded to in that old folk song/ballad w/e it is. Only standing at 6'1 in the trenches is generally not a good thing, but this guy has more power than most people realize. Overshadowed by Shawn Oakman, Billings has a better motor and is deceptively quick for a guy of his size. The Cards now get a little better at the POA on D with a front now of Calais Campbell, Chandler Jones, and now Billings. Have fun NFC West Interior O-Lines. Thanatos 2,847 Posted March 22, 2016 (edited) With the 30th pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, the Carolina Panthers select: Will Fuller, WR, Notre Dame. Carolina's offensive line needs upgrading as well, but the fact that the second-best WR on my board is still available makes this a BPA pick that fills another need. While Carolina's WR corps is better with Kelvin back, they're still too thin on the whole given the injury toll an NFL season can take on your players. Fuller is a ridiculous deep threat and the main knock on him is dropped passes. This will allow him to fit in nicely with our other WRs, and particularly Ted Ginn. butta54 371 Posted March 22, 2016 (edited) ***TRADE*** With the 32nd pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, The Chicago Bears select..... Shilique Calhoun, OLB, Michigan State Two things I know for a fact about this guy...he has a great family backing him and he had a great pro-style coach while in college. Coming from a penetrating even front, this former DE will be the athletic pass rusher opposite of the stout run stopping McPhee. Cherry 1,302 Posted March 22, 2016 (edited) The Cincinnati Bengals have traded their #55, #79, and #161 picks for the #33 pick from the Tennessee Titans. With the 33rd pick in the 2016 NFL draft... the Cincinnati Bengals select... Michael Thomas WR Ohio State A guy with #1 receiver potential and a shitload of untapped talent. He's still cleaning up the smaller aspects of his game but he's arguably the best receiver in this draft. He gives the Bengals a threat across from Green now that Sanu and Jones are gone. I'm sure he'd develop the finer points of route running well under AJ. Edited March 22, 2016 by Chernobyl426
butta54 371 Posted March 22, 2016 With the 34th pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, The Dallas Cowboys select..... Eli Apple, CB, The Ohio State Had another direction in mind, but the board was screaming at us. A 1st round talent with 1st round character will allow us to fully explore Byron Jones at safety and put two absolute lockdown man corners on the edge.

Cherry 1,302 Posted March 23, 2016 With the 37th pick in the 2016 NFL draft... the San Francisco 49ers select... Corey Coleman WR Baylor Carson Wentz gets a weapon to work with. Coleman is an incredibly talented receiver who is damaged more by his lack of effort than by lack of skill. It could be a very hit or miss pick depending on which version of Coleman we see, but he has the potential to develop nicely over the next few years. Arguable the second best wideout in the draft, the Coleman pick fills a huge need.
CampinWithaMissingPerson 2,025 Posted March 23, 2016 (edited) With the 38th pick in the 2016 NFL draft... the Jacksonville Jaguars select... Karl Joseph, S, West Virginia The angles he takes, footwork, play recognition, ball skills, can blitz, competitive the guy is just all around a really good DB. The Jags don't have enough of those. Easy choice. Edited March 23, 2016 by CampinWithAccidentalFlavor

Cherry 1,302 Posted March 23, 2016 With the 43rd pick in the 2016 NFL draft... the Los Angeles Rams select... Ryan Kelly C Alabama I'll risk the injury history. The guy is an absolute monster when healthy and I feel pretty confident in his ability to anchor the Rams line for years to come. Missing out on Joseph certainly hurt, but I'm pretty happy with this pick.

butta54 371 Posted March 23, 2016 (edited) With the 45th pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys select.... Connor Cook, QB, Michigan State Extremely tough decision. Romo is our guy, but the signs can't be ignored that we need a back up option. 1st round we were bailed out with a great deal to move back. This round we were torn between need and talent. But luckily we had another pick in this round and our guy fell to us. Cook is experienced in a power-run pro-style offense....well sounds like he will fit in perfectly with our offensive gameplan.
