My name is Marcus, but if I could switch names, I would switch it to my brother's name, Michael. I'm a white man stuck with a black man's name. You never hear of a white Marcus, theyre always black. Not to mention, all the variations of it are black as well. DaMarcus, DeMarcus, LaMarcus, etc...

I actually like my first name which is Nick short for (Nicholas). But its my middle name that annoys the hell outta me. "Gian" which in Italian, is believed to mean (meaning) the Lord is Gracious. C'mon!

While I do agree it is rare for a white dude to be named that...but a buddy of mine who happens to be in my FFL, is white and of Geman, Russian decent...spells it Markus! The name must have been originated in Europe. But cool name though.

I've always liked my name, especially the spelling. Zach makes me want to pronounce it like Sebby Bach's name. Zak and Zac are each a rare combination of cartoonishness and pretentiousness.
