Dutch 874 Posted July 6, 2013 (edited) Wolves, the most majestic and beautiful of animals. They are visually stunning and one of the most captivating animals to watch on nature shows. I love everything about wolves; from their looks to animal characteristics. I like how they are extremely loyal within their pack and operate as pack to survive. They take care of their own; great family values. They also have fascinating sensory abilities. The wolves have always played a part in human history (folklore etc) They generally always symbolized good things such as sharp intelligence, great instincts, and an expression of freedom. Wolves are just cool animals overall and realistically are within the realms of domesticating if you're properly trained.Meet the wolf man. Phins4life 271 Posted July 6, 2013 Jaguar - Incredibly resilient and powerful for its size, even capable of killing a caiman or anaconda. My favorite of the big cats. Grey Wolf - Among the elite when it comes to coordinated killing. I also love the disciplined social order they adhere to within their packs. Bonobo - I'm always fascinated by the Great Apes, and I love this one the most. BwareDWare94 723 Posted July 6, 2013 (edited) Coyotes. I love hearing their calls at night. Black Bears. It's not uncommon for them to wander into my area, though it's rare. There's usually a sighting or two every 2-3 years, and there was even one killed on the highway a year or so back. Buffalo. They're so interesting, visually, and the different kinds of meats that come from them are delicious as long as the cook isn't a moron. Cougars. Also not uncommon in ND, often seen on trail cams in my area. It forces me to keep my eyes in the trees when I'm fencing in the woods. Got hoooked on these guys after reading the "My Side of the Mountain" books like... forever ago.
