tmannbaby 1 Posted July 12, 2013 FIRST POST Kurt Warner- most accurate QB throwing the intermediate-deep ball. Rivals A. Rodgers in pure accuracy. Patience in the pocket- this dude stood there until the last possible second, takes the hit and thread the needle. Doug Flutie- Gave hope to all short QBs, crazy hail mary when playing for Boston College. OWNED CFL (ya k not saying much but still). Would lol watching him scramble. Got SCREWED playing for Buffalo when they started i think it was JP Losman over him. Deion Sanders- Made pick 6s cool, invented the high step. Major dual threat weapon as a returner and a pick specialist. Mike Vick while on Atlanta- Nobody cared if he could throw or not, watching him bounce around the pocket like a maniac was fun. Hilarious watching Linemen gas out in the 1st quarter.
True Blue 16 Posted July 12, 2013 Russell Wilson has quickly become my favorite player. It's hard not to love the guy. Although Sherman is a close second for me.
tmannbaby 1 Posted July 12, 2013 You remember the game against buffalo in Toronto were Wilson absaloutley torn em up. I think he had 3 rushing touchdowns a couple throwing and like over 400 all purpose yards. He was running around like a pinball machine kinda reminded me of Pinball Clemons. Russell Wilson has quickly become my favorite player. It's hard not to love the guy. Although Sherman is a close second for me.
tmannbaby 1 Posted July 12, 2013 Kinda ironic that you have both Tim Tebow and John Elway LMAO! They actually have alot of similarities eh mabye thats why Elway couldn't stand Tebow. Tim Tebow followed by Barry Sanders, Brett Favre, and John Elway

Cherry 1,302 Posted July 13, 2013 Adriel Jeremiah Green AJ is already an arguably amazing receiver. In my opinion, right behind Calvin. I hardly ever see him drop passes, and the only reason why he isn't putting up better stats is because Dalton can't throw deep. He is a very humble guy though, and says he isn't even close to elite yet, and he praises Dalton for his ability. Just a very good guy overall.
Jules 98 Posted July 13, 2013 I think Reggie Wayne is starting to become my all time favorite Colts player. I hope he can continue at a high level for a few more years or more. I don't want it to end.

CampinWithaMissingPerson 2,025 Posted July 14, 2013 My favorite player was and is Fred Taylor. The size, power, elusiveness and speed was amazing to watch. When I watch AP now, he's like super saiyan Fred Taylor. But Fred will always be my favorite. Not only for his mastery of the running back position, but watching him grow as a human off the field was awe inspiring. When he was a rookie, he was quiet, shy, and ran in some wrong circles. His first agent, Tank Black, actually completely robbed him of almost his entire rookie contract. Sunk investments purposely to steal from him, etc. He was naive. Go full circle to the twilight of his career and the contrast was striking. He was an outspoken leader, as honest an interview you were going to get if you worked media. Community oriented. He blossomed into an outstanding human being. What's even more awe inspiring? He has since found his ex-agent who robbed him of millions of dollars — and told him to his face he forgives him. Fred is just a special guy and that's why he'll always be my favorite player.

AL_Royalty 489 Posted July 15, 2013 Another though would have to be the beast known as Priest Holmes. This is just a guy who I respect immensely... Not for only what he has done on the field but what he has done off it. He's a great person on top of being a great player, and that definitely helps his case in my book. I am also a sucker for a good story, and Priest brings that to the table as well. He comes into the league as an UDFA... He worked is ass off, paid his dues, and rose to the top like cream and speaking of which.. he was smooooooth as butter running that football. He glided across the field and made it seem so effortless. He did it the right way. He fought for everything he ever had in life, and it just makes me smile thinking of the success he had in the NFL. Nothing to add here. The guy would have been in Canton if he never got hurt/they could win some playoff games. Dude is easily one of the best of an era and my all-time favorite. Also, I don't care what anyone says about the guy. Randy Moss was SOOOOO fucking fun to watch. Barry Sanders was the Rock of football—THE MOST EEEELECTRIFYING MAN IN SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT! IF YOU SMEEEELLLLLLALALALALALAH WHAT YOUR GRANDMA.... IS... COOOKING!!!! Thanksgiving will never be the same. You'll forever be missed Barry. As I'm sure you've already figured out, this is my all-time list, so moving on, Joe fucking Montana. The greatest QB of all time, he was also the player that got me interested in watching football. Jerry was great, and he probably would have been the greatest WR in history anyway. Having one of the most accurate and clutch QBs throwing him the ball for the first 8ish years of his career didn't hurt to pad the stats though. Marcus Allen is right up there too, for obvious reasons I'm sure. Probably the only ex-Raider that hates them as much as I do. Three yards and a cloud of points. Much Love. Bo Jackson will be the only Raider who ever sits on this list, and it's mostly because he was a K.C. Royal more than a Raider. He played football as a hobby, and he could have been an all-time great had he not have had a defective hip. Bo Knows All-time Favorites. Deacon Jones is easily the coolest player I've ever met. For more info on that, see the R.I.P. Deacon Jones thread. Lastly—for now—I have to give props to my favorite Cleveland Brown ever, Bernie Kosar. The same side-arm delivery that made many hate on him just makes me love the dude more. Bernie was going to give Marino a run for his money until injuries took something away from his game. One of my favorite moments in all of my football watching days is Bernie taking a knee for the Cowboys to win a Super Bowl that he was as much a part of getting to—IMO—as Aikman, Emmitt, Irvin, and the rest of the Cowboys. I'll put up my current list at another time, but this is my short list of all-time faves. I'm sure many of you can guess what the current list is going to somewhat look like anyway though.
KempBolt 498 Posted July 16, 2013 My favorite current Chargers, other than Philip Rivers are: Vincent Brown, Wide Receiver Vincent Brown is a guy I've been a fan of since his days at San Diego State. He's never been the biggest, fastest, or strongest player on the field, but he understands how to get open and does so consistently. His timing and leaping ability are such that he outplays his size, and he probably has the best hands on the team. It was a big blow to lose him for 2012 due to a preseason injury, but I believe he's ready to break out in a big way. Corey Liuget, 5 Technique Defensive End Liuget established himself last year as one of the premier 3-4 linemen in the NFL. And he'll only be 23 during his 3rd NFL season. Liuget's game is well-rounded and very disruptive for being a 3-4 end. He penetrates or eats blocks in the running game as is asked of him. As a pass rusher, he creates pressure inside and will get to the QB himself on occasion. The future looks bright here and I'm excited to see what he looks like this season, as the peak of his ability should be coming over the next three years.
