They're just another team now. The Cowboys fans on TGP overrate Romo though, so it'd be nice to see this team lose and Romo play poorly in a loss.

9) They have Peyton and he's a big rival, so I don't want him to win another SB. Still respect the hell out of him though.

10) Their fanbase is absolutely OBSESSED with spygate. Other than that, no issues with this team. I was actually rooting for them in 2008 cause I loved their style of play.

Nobody here overrates Romo. He's a great fucking quarterback. I've yet to see any of the Dallas fans say he's as good as Brady or Ben or Rodgers, the definitive top 3, so it's not like people are making absurd comparisons.

 

The MVP support is because he's played as good as any quarterback this year. Let me emphasize that--this year. And he has. The stats are all there. The incredible throws, the GWDs--they're all on the tape. Yes, he has greatness around him on offense. So do Ben and Rodgers, and Brady has a significantly better defense.

 

The MVP argument is there for any of those QBs, including Romo. Unfortunately, those arguments are only there if the award is shamelessly given to any of them over who deserves it by a mile--JJ Watt.
